CHAPTER 13

SLAP...SLAP...SLAP...SLAP

“Please, Robbie...God...”

I was sweating despite the chill.

What if somebody pulled over? What if they saw us? The street lights were giving enough illumination.

“Robbie...stop.”

Slapslapslapslap

Oh dear God.

My sweater was destroyed.

My shirt was on a dirty milestone nearby.

My pants were ripped and lying on ground.

I could not even see my underwear just a few buttons here and there and my phone.

I was slightly shivering. I was naked and lying on his car’s bonnet.

Robbie took a drag of cigarette smoke. In his pants, half naked standing beside the road deep in thought, looking far away.

His back was still so tense. Still so angry. Strung like a bow.

Light flashed and my mom’s ringtone filled the silence.

I looked back to my damaged phone. The screen was broken.

I gulped.

I gently picked the phone from ground, I was worried it would turn into dust.

“Ace, baby? Where are you? Guests are already leaving. Hello, baby?”

“Hey, Mama.”

“Where are you? You guys have been gone for some time. Everything okay?”

My throat felt dry.

“Uh huh.”

“Why are you not home yet?”

“We had a flat tire.” I mumbled.

“Oh, that is bad. Are you far away? I will send our driver. You guys wait.”

“NO, Robbie is managing it well. We are okay.”

“Are you sure, honey?”

“Yes, mama. He is changing it.”

I was still shivering.

“Okay give phone to Robert. I want to talk to him.”

He was watching me talk. I pressed the phone to his hands.

“Yes, Ma’am...He is fine...Yes...We are good...Okay...No problem...Yes...No, you should sleep. I got it under control. Call me, please. His phone is about to die.”

His eyes started to wander on my body again. I turned my face away. I sat on the bonnet and hugged my knees.

“Another 40 more minutes... Okay... Of course I will... Good night Ma’am.”

He threw my phone again on the road. I saw another crack forming.

I felt his breath on my ears and heard him lowering his zipper again.

“Ace, I...” He started. I closed my eyes and leaned back on the car seat.

I was wearing his shirt and sweater. He was driving only in his pants.

I heard him sigh. He patted my thighs. I was angry. Why? I had no idea.

At least, I had the presence of mind to pick up my tattered clothes. If somebody passed through they would think I was... Well, they would think of all nonsense.

I shook my head.

As expected home was dark. Nobody was waiting. Which was good. I wanted to sleep.

I knew that Robbie wanted to talk. But I was too tired, too angry.

I was inside my room before he could even park his car in the garage.

I took a shower for namesake and climbed on bed in my bathrobe.

So damn tired.

And sad.

I woke up late. Really late. I was surprised mom left me to sleep.

I stretched and my whole body ached especially my...

Robbie, you brute.

It was a pleasant feeling though. I blushed.

I decided to take a bath. Yesterday’s shower did not cut it.

Taking my time, enjoying the hot water in Jacuzzi, I was pampering myself.

No I did not use his gift. He took his fill yesterday night. I wanted more. I closed my eyes.

Why?

I was going through choices of clothes when something got my eye on the nightstand.

A white box with a red bow.

It was a new phone. Newest model too. So sleek, so beautiful. The ads were so gorgeous.

I opened the packaging. A note was attached to the warranty paper.

“I am so sorry. Please. Yours.”

I blinked.

The phone was amazing.

It was installed with paid versions of my favourite games. There were movies, my favourite songs. New albums from my artists. All my contacts were already ready. Even my emails were synced.

Oh Robbie.

I could not stop smiling.

I had started playing before I took the first bite of my breakfast.

I felt mom kissing my forehead.

“You got new phone?”

“Robbie’s gift mommy.”

I smiled. She might think it was his Christmas gift.

“He is spoiling you.” Mom walked away laughing. If she turned around she would have seen me blushing.

“Glad that you liked the phone.” A new message popped up. Robbie had saved his number under an image. A photo of him leaning on my sleeping figure as he pouted. It was so funny. I could not stop the giggles. It was funny to see him pouting. He must have taken this image today morning.

I shook my head.

“Stop ignoring me already.” I chuckled but did not reply again. I was not going to make this easy for him.

“One reply, please.” I shook my head ‘no’. Not that he could see me.

“At least ask me to fuck off.”

God, this guy. I finished my breakfast and walked right to his chest.

How long had he been here?

Did he see me giggling or smiling or playing the games?

From the look on his face, he had been standing here for some time.

He was not letting me pass through.

He took my hand and dragged me to wash area.

What was he doing? Mom was in the kitchen.

“Robbie, let go.”

“Did you like my gift?”

“It was not a gift. You broke my phone.” I leaned away to watch my mom.

“Fine, did you like it?”

“Robbie, let go. Someone might come.”

“Say you liked it.”

“Robbiee...”

“Ace, son, if you are finished bring that plates.” Mom yelled from the kitchen. “Did he leave already?” I heard mom mumbling.

“Robbie, please let go.” My eyes were widened in horror.

How would I explain this if she came now?

Robbie was pulling me closer.

I heard my mom’s footsteps coming.

“Robbie...” I hissed.

He was waiting.

“I liked it. Now, let go.”

“Give me a kiss.”

“What? No. Robbie. Stop playing. Let go.”

“Ace, honey.” Oh my god, mom.

I pressed a kiss on his cheek and ran to the dining room as soon as he left my hands.

“I got this, Ma.”

I started collecting the plates.

“I will help.” Robbie walked in like he just got here. Please, dear god, do not let mom see my blush.

Stupid pale skin.

Robbie trailed after me carrying majority of dishes.

When mom turned to faucet to start washing, Robbie leaned and planted a kiss on my cheek leaving me breathless.
