CHAPTER 40

“Our baby, Dave. Our baby. I cannot... Not anymore. We should give up. We are not meant to be”

“Please, don’t say it. After all we have been through, why go through all these hurdles if we were going to stop fighting.”

“But look at us. We are dying. I feel like dying.”

I hugged Liz close. She was close to crying.

No, she stared crying.

Our robot baby took four steps, we were happy, so so so happy but then he lost his footing and he started leaning to right side and toppled over. He was now on his back his little legs and toes wiggling trying to get back on his feet.

It was heart breaking.

It was hard especially with our good-for-nothing narcissistic prof wanted us to drop this project and take on other ‘simple and easy’ one.

Everyone who loved him were blind. Dr. Williams never wanted his students to be above him ever.
