Samantha De Plaza is the only daughter of a politician who almost owns half of their province’s land. Nick is the son of De Plaza’s cook. When the young Samantha and her friends thought they could use Nick for a good challenge to make him her supposed debut’s last dance and then to stand him thereafter in the middle of the dance floor, they weren’t ready for any consequences. 

10 years after, the table is now turned.

A couple of graft and corruption cases after, losing the re-election and sickness and death for her father and Samantha is no longer the same young and rich girl anymore. Still, she will try her best to get hold of the last thing her family has left for her, their ancestral mansion, even if it meant to get into the end of the ruthless bank’s owner’s trust.

Nick wiped the tears from Say's eyes. They were both lying on the carpet of the old ballroom hall with only their clothes covered. 


Say smiled simply and kissed Nick on the cheek. “... Because I thought ... I thought you didn't love me anymore …” 


Nick answered her with another kiss on the forehead. 


“W-who is…who is Brooke?” The question that Say has long wanted to ask. 


Nick took a deep breath before answering. “Brooke helped me when I was nothing. I was with her until I became successful. She helped me ease the pain while I am not with you... but we have no relationship other than being business partners. She loved me, Say. She wants me to cope with my desperation and obsession about you, so she planned this...and I agreed. I thought the plan was that simple...but then I was wrong. It wasn’t that easy the moment I saw you again, the moment I saw you helpless in my arms … 


"Nick ... nothing really happened in the video you saw me with Drex and—"
