Gino POV

After a long night of love making I had to face my father. Who has been questioning me over and over again about my relations. His ass nosey as fuck and I was finally ready for him to meet her. Before that happened I had to make sure she was up to par because my pop don't play that shit. My dad was well known and well respected with a lot of power. I often find myself having to prove myself to him. He handles a drug ring and produce local artists . I'm a legit business man and he hate that. I wondered why maybe it's because, I'm actually legal and much bigger than him. He'll never admit to it though that's the ego in him. I blame my sister Paris and her big ass mouth though. He didn't even know I was seeing anybody and I wanted it that way for a reason. Rein was very fragile and I was taking my time with her. Honestly I do see myself spending the rest of my life with her. She's so beautiful and sweet but broken and I know that. Shït she gave up her child and her baby father got killed. That's a huge heartache and I just wanted to take that pain away from her for real. My dad told me he'll be over at six o clock I had an hour to get my shit together. Going to the kitchen I made sure both my chef's Carl and April had everything ready and prepared properly. Approving I checked up on my girl. She stood in the mirror admiring her Armani dress and red bottom heels. I wore slacks and a nice white Armani button up shirt, with loafers. "Baby you okay? I don't want you to be nervous." I said looking at how tense she looked. "I'm meeting your father. I can't help but to be nervous baby." She said seriously. "It's okay baby you'll do fine. You sure do look it. Let's go downstairs and wait he'll be here in a minute." I said grabbing her hand and escorting her downstairs. Once we got downstairs I made kJ grab us some drinks. Liquor for me and wine for her. We drunk as the doorbell rung. No lie I got nervous too I hate when he around he be doing the absolute most but I love that man to death. kJ opens the door as he comes in and gets comfortable. Grabbing my baby hand we stand there ready to greet him. He comes where we are and looks at us both. "Hey dad." I said speaking as he motions for kJ to grab him a drink per usual. Anytime he comes over he gets slap drunk. Once he got his drink he spoke. "Hello son. So this what you been hiding from me huh?" He said looking Rein up and down. "I can see why she's beautiful. Aren't you going to introduce me?" He said still staring at her like a piece of steak. "Dad this is Rein. Rein this is my father Giovanni." I said. Rein then begins to choke as I look at her concerned. "Baby you okay?" I asked looking at her as she sat her glass down. "Yeah wine went down the wrong pipe. My apologies." She said. "It happens." My dad said laughing. "So pop you hungry? The food ready to be served." I said as he continued to look at Rein. Like damn my nigga keep your eyes off my bitch and relax. "Yeah let's do it." He said with a chuckle. This man shoot out. We all go to the table and sit down as April hands us our plate of food. "You want some more wine baby?" I asked her noticing her glass was now empty. "Sure." She said with a smile as Carl filled her glass back up. Then my dad dig in his food. Then he ask me how my business was doing. "I know not better than mines but I'm your father I have to ask." He said. "It's going pop. Everything's running smoothly." I said keeping it short and simple. My father then looks at Rein. "Are Y'all engaged?" He asked as I notice him looking at her ring. She quickly put her hand down and looked at me. "It's more like a promise ring." She said lying. I eyed her like what the fuck. "That's way too flashy to be a promise ring trust I know. That ring has to be worth at least 10k." My father said. Then he stops and look at Rein deep. I'm wondering why the fuck he keeps looking at her. Then he stop mid eating and looked at me. "Son can I speak to you for a minute." He asked me. "Yeah sure." I said. Before I excused myself from the table I kissed Rein on the forehead. In the office my dad looked pissed off. "Do you know who the fuck that is?" My dad asked. "Man what you talking about?" I asked confused knowing he was already on one or two. "You remember the nigga Carmelo? Who stole my fucking money and thought he was going to skip town on me?" He asked. "Yeah I remember him what that got to do with anything?" I asked still confused. "That's Carmelo bitch sitting at your table. That ring she got on her finger is where my 10k went. How the fuck could you let the enemy in this house boy? You can't take this bitch serious they stole from us!" He said trying not to be too loud. "You can't be serious right now?" I asked getting frustrated. "Did you fuck her?" He asked. "Man dad watch out." I said. "Boy don't be fucking stupid. Listen to me son and hear me clearly. You are not to love this bitch. Get that ring off her fucking finger that's my money nigga. Loyalty over love she is not to be trusted." My dad said seriously.
