“We watched a few videos on tape and behind the scene. And we all have a lot of questions to ask both of you.” Ms. Kasey announces.
Myla and Jamal nod.
“I'd start within the story. What is your best scene in the movie.”
Myla clears her throat. “Well, I've not discovered what my best scene is yet. But If I have to choose a scene from what we watch, the part where Chris realized his mistakes and faught for the love he had for Kim is my best scene.”
Ms. Kasey nods. “And what is the reason for your choice?”
Myla replies. “From the scene after she found out about who he truly was, they had a fight and ended up making out. He confessed to himself how irresponsible he has been for putting her life at risk. He was sincere to himself. And that's what . . . we're lacking in relationships today.”
“No one is ready to submit. Everybody is right and just. But no one sees his or her mistakes or accept any. So it was a very honest . . . and bold decision for someone like Chris. That proved he honored his love for her before anything. And that's why it's my best scene.”
People nods understandingly and the space is given to Jamal.
“What about you Jamal?”
“Like Myla said I sincerely didn't think about this. Because there are so many things I grabbed from the movie. So many scenes exposing . . . love, trust, and respect. Not just for a single person but for everyone we come across.”
“Chris was a bad man to some people who didn't know him. But deep down he knew what he was out for. He had goals of saving the world. But he never knew he's the type to fall in love. And he also didn't know he couldn't control everything no matter the power, wealth he had for himself.”
“So I have a lot of scenes I favorite. There's just a lot to learn about in all of them. But above everything, they all teach us how to love. And not just that but to respect those we love. And off course if you love someone you'd respect and trust them.”
The audience applauds.
Ms. Kasey. goes on and on with questioning them until now.
“Now moving on with your personal lifes. There's so we want to know. Rumors have been heard and we don't know where to find ourselves.”
“We're hoping to get correct answers from both of you. I'd start with Myla here. Has there been any personal feelings for Jamal during being Kim?”
Yes. A lot.
Myla looks at him and he's already staring back.
She has never confessed her feelings to him. Doing it on screen now will be confusing to him and she'd feel like a liar.
“Yes. There has always been emotions. Scattered everywhere like a puzzle. What's left now is for them to get fixed into one. Untill then we don't know what they truly mean.”
Ms. Kasey is amused and so it the audience. She just nods and proceeds.
“I've always known all these rumors had something truthful about them. So tell us Jamal is there something you want people to know about your relationship with Myla?”
“I've known Myla for so long. She has thought me so much and made me the man I am. She's my best friend. And all the accusations laid on her are false.”
“There's so much about Myla that no one knows. She's a strong, bold, confident and loving woman. That's why she gave me the chance to read through her. And when I did . . . I discovered how pure and perfect she is to me.”
He looks at her and the audience cheer.
“This is so . . . overwhelming. Now the world knows that both you are NOT enemies but BEST FRIENDS. And so with all these I can see love in the air.”
The hall chortle as she continues.
“The last question of today is . . . What do you want the world to know about you? And how far you've gone to this point.”
“Well, there's just one thing I want people to know. Anybody can be used to raise you from who you are now to who you'd be. In the same way anyone can be used to nail you. Anyone including your love ones, friends, and family.”
“In my experience I've learned to resist bad people. I didn't run away from them. I faced them. I accepted the humiliation of being judged as a slut, a hypocrite, a liar, a murderer, a thief, an occultist. You can name them.”
“I wasn't all these things but I received all these names. That's to show us that they world will always talk bad about us no matter how good we try to be.”
“Many people thing being a Christian, or Muslims or whatever it is you are is by discriminating yourself from the others. But it won't change a thing.”
“Yes you believe in what you believe. But no one can see that. You can't want to influence a set of people if you feel overly rightous and . . . Clean. You need to descend and show them how it's done by resisting those thing they fell for. Correcting with love. Then they will see who you truly are and respect you.”
Ms. Kasey mutters. “Wow! I'm honoured.”
Myla smiles. And the audience applauds. Including Jamal.
“You just said something . . . powerful. You just showed us who you are. And we respect you for that.”
“Thank you. Thank you so much.”
Everyone applauds again and Ms. Kasey turns to Jamal.
“I'm speechless. She just said so many things in just a few statements. But what I wish to add to it is . . . We all make mistakes. And sometimes we forget how to react to a situation especially out of pressure.”
“They come as temptations. And we fall to it. But that doesn't mean we can't get up and keep riding. It just teaches us to be careful when next we see something as such. And until we learn from that thing we'd keep falling.”
“Nevertheless, you don't have to take off that mistake in other to cross to the next level. Just simply ignore it. It was brought to distract you. That's why the best way is to ignore it.”
“And mind you that so many others will fall in front of you and all you'd need to do is keep ignoring until the end. Because it'd always be there.”
Ms. Kasey nods gently. “Both of you are sent from somewhere to this planet. Like . . . I don't know how but . . . everything you say just speaks to me. And I am happy we have many others watching this program live. I want to thank all of you for your time. It was a Royal meeting and splendid for everyone.”
The audience put hands together.
And Ms. Kasey turns to the camera. “This session has now come to an end with Chris and Kim from 'The wedded stranger'! Hope we got through every inquires. And we pray to meet with you again on the next show!”
“Let's wish our guests a gracious leave.”
“Thanks for coming.”
Myla and Jamal rise on their feets as she hugs Ms. Kasey and he does the same respectively.
“Thanks again Ms. Kasey.”
“And thank you beautiful people." They wave to the audience and they applaud their exit.
Jamal moves away from the crowd and dissappears with Myla.
...
They get into the same vehicle as he open the door for her to get in while he rounds the black motor to sit close to her.
The driver kicks off after staring at them in the back seat.
“I don't even know how I said all those things.” Myla chuckles.
He smirks. “You didn't have to because you weren't the one speaking.”
Myla knit her brows as she rolls her head to his direction.
“There are things you say which are not ordinary for you. And I wonder what you are. Are you-”
She pauses then finishes. “A god?”
He smiles at her. “I think by now you know the answer to that question.”
She chuckles. “I can't believe this! You're such a good actor. No wonder you kept asking me a lot of questions about my Christianity life and . . . talking about supernatural things.”
A god or goddess is a child of God who believes in Christ.
“And also, that was my first impression of you at the youth meeting. Not in a Christian . . . way. You know . . .”
He raises his brows and makes a gentle nod.
She looks through the window, and watches several buildings sliding away.
“So you want me to solve your puzzle?”
She registers his sentence and faces him. He looks at her expectantly but she stays silent.
“What you said at the golden offer, In the show, were materials to assist me solve your puzzle?”
“Do you feel they are? If you feel so then follow your heart.” she advises.
“Thank you. That's just what I wanted to hear. I'm going to fix your puzzle. And I'd do it in a grand style.”
Her brows crease as she tries to understand what he means.
Suddenly, she tries to settle her mind with the questions she always wanted to ask him.
“Did you mean what you said when you told me . . . I'm yours?”
“I've meant every word I've ever said except those that hurt you.”
‘Those that hurt me?’
He adds. “So if what I said didn't hurt you then I meant it. But if it did . . . then I didn't.”
And she knows what it is. It didn't hurt her at all. So he meant it.
She sucks in a deep breath before releasing her chest.
“Why did you bring Gabriella with you then?”
“She opted to come. I couldn't stop her because that was the last day she'd be close to me. She had to return to England.”
She doesn't say anything else and he says. “Listen Myla I don't love her anymore. She's my past and you're my future."
She rehearses his last phrase and darts her gaze to him.
