Chapter 66: Spell

“Huh? Who’s that? Who was it?” we asked, looking around.

“Idiots. Have you all forgotten my lovely voice?” she asked.

I crumpled the paper I took out from my pocket when I noticed the sound came from there. It was the paper where Minoa’s message was written. We saw it was flying towards us when we found that Mele suddenly disappeared earlier.

“Hey, you damn fulfiller of the prophecy – mmph!” she cried when I started to tear the paper. “Fine! I’ll talk now!” she said.

I just can imagine her frowning. I grimaced.

“You’re right. I’m not the one who put the curse in him.” She started.

“Then how did you get to where the unicorn was?” Chris asked.

“I didn’t.” she answered. “It was the unicorn that got to where I was.” She said.

“You’ll explain all this, right?” I asked.

“Why would you help him, anyway? This got nothing to do with the prophecy.” she said, puzzled.

“We have a favor to ask him. So we must get him to owe us something first.” I explained.
