Chapter 101: The Fog

“What the hell is happening?” I asked, looking side by side. All of the beasts are disappearing around us.

“This is an advantage for us.” The Sage said. “But I’m scared…” he said and suddenly frowned.

“’scared’?” Oril asked.

The Sage nodded. “I’m scared of what's the cause of it.” He answered. “And the shaking of the ground... woah!” he exclaimed.

“Wah!” we also exclaimed when the shaking of the ground got stronger.

“W-w-w-what now?” Emil asked as we fell on our hands and knees.

“Wait?” Michele asked.

“Best choice.” Oril nodded in agreement.

“I hella think not.” Chris said and looked behind us.

“Huh?” I asked as we turned.

Our eyes went wide. “Holy shit!” we cursed as we started to run, the fog coming our way like a sandstorm.

“Woah! Woah! Woah!” Emil exclaimed as we ran. “Not good! Not good!” he said.

“We can see that!” Rio said, flying.

“Sage!” Chris called and reached the Sage’s hand when the Sage fell behind.
