“Sage! I thought he’s back to normal.” Chris said. “The Yaia was thawed…” she said.
“Yes. The Yaia was thawed, but there’s still a demon inside him.” I said.
“A demon?” they all asked, bewildered.
I nodded. “Yeah. The one who froze us back when we’re inside the mirage.” I explained.
They hugged themselves as the chill went down their spine, thinking of the time we’re all frozen.
I blew out a sigh. “Anyway – “ I said and grabbed their hands. “ – we should all step back.” I said as I pulled them all and we flew up in the air. Just then, a blizzard narrowly missed our feet.
“Woah!” they all exclaimed and curled their feet. They felt their limbs became cold, imagining what could’ve happened if they were hit by the blizzard. “Vincent!” they called.
I put them far from the Sorceress and Vincent. “It’s not Vincent, I just told you that.” I said. “Look. His eyes are glowing blue.” I said and pointed.
“Oh…” they said. “Then where is he?” they asked.
