Chapter 2 : Who are you ?

This is the very first time I go to this kind of event and it's also the first time I visit a vampire kingdom. I have never seen so many vampires in my entire life, it's so impressive . I'm Eric LeLoup and I'm a proud pure werewolf, many people said that I'm a little to kind for this world, but I didn't see myself this way, yeah I like helping people especially orphans because I don't them to feel the way I felt when I was in their place. I was abandoned by my parents at the age of five and since then I was welcomed and raised by our Alpha as his own son.

It's been a while now since vampire and werewolf leaders have not been gathered like this and I remember all the stories that my grandfather told and that his grandfather told him about these kinds of events. Vampire coronations don't happen very often, only each thousand years and for us werewolves it's just a simple ritual that we do when the moon is full.

We choose our Alpha by a fierce fight between the werewolf coming from the nearby tribes that make up our pack . A pack of werewolves can be composed of different werewolves coming from different places. For werewolves there is only one kingdom : Brightmoon Kingdom and the biggest and most popular city of werewolves and where I came from is Lunar Fields. The Werewolves' slogan is "United in strife, United in peace."

For a simple werewolf it's difficult to attend these kinds of events. By simple werewolf I mean I have neither fortune nor family. but still here I am, with my best friends, our Alpha's daughter Luna Ilena, in English her name means full moon because she was born during a full moon time and so am I, Nadia and Zac. Luna and I were born the same day so she is like the twin sister that I never had, I came from The Moonstone Pack led by Amos, Luna's father.

Vampire castle is so awesome and the atmosphere around it was so dark and it was a bit scary. The castle is located on the highest hill of the city : Otrington Hill and it can be seen clearly that the castle is very old and even seems to be from the time when the first vampire appeared. The moon is full and so red this night, maybe a little bit orange. I asked myself who can interpret this event that the moon was red after all vampires, werewolves and humans live in different worlds.

( In this story, Earth is divided into 3 big kingdoms : Human Kingdom, Vampire Kingdom and Werewolf Kingdom. Indeed when the first vampires and werewolves appeared, humans tried to live with them and it worked at first but a few centuries later some humans became jealous of the extraordinary powers of vampires and werewolves ? A huge war between vampires and werewolves and humans broke out, with vampires and werewolves in the same camp it is called War of Bloodthirst. This is how the mottos of vampires, werewolves and humans were born : "Conquerors of Darkness, beyond the skies we rise", "United in strife, United in peace", "Humans : the first, the last, the eternal. After the war claimed millions of lives, so the leaders of the three kingdoms decided to sign a truce and separate the three kingdoms forever. Borders were drawn up and protected by the bravest and the most powerful soldiers of the three kingdoms each on their side.)

For the werewolves, the nights of full red moon are only nights in which one we cannot change because they are considered as the nights of bad luck, misfortune. On the contrary, for vampires, they are sacred and more often synonymous of joy, celebration, and they are perfect for a coronation or a wedding and they only happen each thousand years.

When I enter the ballroom everyone was already on their places, each men with a beautiful bouquets of white roses in their hands and I noticed that only a few men have a bouquet of red roses unfortunately for me there were no bouquet of white roses left so the waiter give me a bouquet of lilies. I can see the King and Queen greeting guests and few minutes later a man with a loud voice announce the entry of the crown princess of vampire.

She was the most beautiful woman that I see in my entire life. She was in a long beautiful garnet dress that approach black in the end and it marked all her shapes very well, it was without sleeves and with a V-shaped bustier and revealed enough without showing too much either for it to be vulgar but on the contrary it was elegant on her. I noticed that she was looking at me and then I made some funny faces because it makes nervous that she looked at me like that.

She turned her gaze elsewhere but I continued to look at her and believe me it's difficult to take your gaze away from her. When she arrived at the end of the stairs she continued to look and so did I. I was so surprised when she continued her way in my direction. She finally arrived in front of me and we continue to look in each other's eyes.

She was breathtaking: her skin is white like the snow and her lips was red as blood and with those beautiful dark black eyes and I was totally lost in them and her raven black hair was styled in a messy bun with a few starands falling on both side .Then I noticed that everybody was looking at us and I can hear them whispering. I have her the bouquet of lilies and I kissed her hand.

I took the bouquet with a smile in my face and he put a gentle kiss on the top of my hand. I never felt like that before and I can even explain it, it's like I have butterflies in my stomach. How could a kiss can make me feel like that and I could still feel the warmth of his lips on my hand when a loud voice interrupted us and said " the crown princess will now open the ball with her chosen partner.

He led the way into the dance floor and I can feel the eyes of everybody looking at us but we danced like nothing else matters we still continuing to look at each other's eyes and none of us said a word until I finally I decided to ask him "excuse me, who are you ?", he replied me with a polite tone "my name is Eric LeLoup, your grace."
