Chapter 4

Steven walked out of his cottage in his town, moving toward the hill. He is currently wearing black pants and a light blue shirt. He was also carrying a book with a pen within it in his right hand.

'I hope I learn something actually helpful today. I need to get an early advantage to other my age.' Steven thought, walking forward.

"Steven, I am coming with you." A young girl, the same age as he said, walking out from the house after him. She is 3 years old with an already beautiful face, long snow-white hair that reached her mid-back, bright red eyes, and she wore a one-piece red gown. "Father and Mother said I shouldn't let you hug all the glory from learning from grandpa. Though, I was enjoying playing with the chicken. Their neck is so easy to snap."

'She will become a maniac in the future.' Steven thought, looking at his sister, Bai Feng. 'Though my parents are smart enough to tell her to follow me, I think our granddad already sees me as his favorite.'

Turning away from his sister kept walking, Bai Feng skipping after him while humming an unknown tone. They quickly reached and climbed the hill and found Li Feng, wearing the same clothes from yesterday, leaning on the tree, waiting.

"Grandpa!" Bai Feng shouted, running toward Li Feng and hugging his leg. "Grandpa, guess what I did today."

"What my little girl?" Li Feng asked, smiling down at Bai Feng.

"I helped our three neighbors." Bai Feng said, happily.

"Good for you." Li Feng said, smiling.

[I wouldn't get my hopes up.] Steven used sign language to say to his grandfather.

"I help them kill three chickens. I pulled their head from their body and red water splashed out. It was soo cool." Bai Feng said, smiling innocently.

"Ye-yes. Cool." Li Feng said, looking at Steven with a shocked face while patting Bai Feng's head.

[Told you so.] Steven said with sign language. 'She will become a sadist in the future. Got to keep her away or close to me so she won't murder me for fun. Seeing as her talent is 10, she is going to have an easier path than me and maybe become a powerhouse in the future, so it is best if I keep her close to me.'

"Ok. Ok Today, we will start with training our bodies." Li Feng said as he kept rubbing Bai Feng's head who was smiling sweetly. "We will train till you until you turn 6 and awaken your spirit weapon."

'You awaken your spirit at six huh. This idea of training the body isn't so bad.' Steven thought, looking at his scrawny body. 'I need to get big and strong.'

And so, their training began. At the start, it was simple 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, 10 squats, and 900 meters run. This was surprisingly easy for them, which surprised Steven. But then again, this is a cultivation world so their body should be stronger.

As time went on, the training intensity also increased. In both of them, Bai Feng was always the one stronger, faster, and had more stamina. But in terms of intelligence, Steven was always leagues ahead. He had his memories from his 17 years old life and in his past life he was one of the best in his school, so there is no way that Bai Feng would outsmart him.

The training intensity for Bai Feng grew to many levels above Steven and when they turned 4, they started practicing basic martial arts for self-defense, attack, and evade.

The sparring match was always Steven's win since he had better judgment but this all changes as they grew older.

'I can't believe I am lost to a little child and it is a girl never less.' Steven thought, laying on the ground and looking up into the sky. Though he isn't sexist, the idea of losing to a female isn't something he likes. 'This is disgracing.'

Though Bai Feng's physical power is strong, her learning ability is extremely slow. It took her a long time to learn simple things and even if she learned it, it won't stick.

This difference even though they were twins came as a shock to Li Feng but he made a simple theory with no proof. Steven took all the intelligence when he was born and Bai Feng took all the physical attributes.

In the three years, they have changed. Bai Feng became more beautiful with her straight flowing white hair now reaching her lower back, with two long strands over her shoulder. It could have been longer but it was cut multiple times to stop it from growing too long. Her eyes became a darker red, as dark as blood. She has fair skin and wore a plain dress, with red being the primary color and black being the secondary.

Steven was also different. He has an average plain face, devoid of any emotion. His white hair now reached up to his shoulders, and his eyes became milkier white with no pupil, making anyone who doesn't know him, automatically think he is blind. He wore a simple dark red shirt and black pants.

Today was the spiritual awakening day and Bai Feng was happily jumping around under the tree on top of the hill while Steven was just staring at the town, thinking deeply about something.

"Well, let's go to the spirit hall." Li Feng said, looking at the excited Bai Feng.

'Today will awaken my primordial spirit. Seeing how I look with the cliche white hair all strong MC have, I suppose I will get something no less than saint rank.' Steven thought, touching his hair. 'Hehehe, can't wait'
