WEIRD GUY

Shea have been fighting with Mrs.Sung since the past two hours regarding the supply of drinks. She have no idea if she could survive the crowd gathered around all of a sudden but Mrs.Sung have been forcing her to take the supplies directly to the customer as she was busy cooking.

"Its been two hours, you have to hurry now."

"I still havent learned to control my thirst. How do you expect me to do it?" Shea snapped at the old woman giving a death glare.

"You learn this way or you never learn. Hasnt it been eight years now, since you came to live among humans?" Mrs.Sung gave her a pathetic look which Shea shrugged off.

"Whatever you say, I am not going because I am not confident about this." Shea plopped on the couch without wanting to argue anymore.

"Have this potion and get going."

Shea looked at Mrs.Sung hearing a sound of glass being placed on the wooden counter.

"Blood?" she gave a questionable look.

"Yes, it will help you. This is just for your confidence because you took it last night so the effect is still in your body. You will be fine without this too." Mrs.Sung said continuing her work.

"I better take it." Shea flashed to the kitchen and drank the liquid in one go.

"Now give these to the customer."

"Who is that?" Shea asked picking the big sized box like feather.

"Show this paper to the security and dont take your power. Are you going to walk all the way carrying this big box as its nothing?"

"I know how to take it. Thankyou for your unwanted concern." Shea had no idea why she was being mean to the woman as all she did was keep her safe and feed her blood.

She filled the back seat of the car with the boxes and sat on the driver seat driving off to the stadium which was only less than five minutes walk. She hated how she was bottled up at the place and at the same time, she has a lot of things to find out which she couldnt slide. Brian, him being her case study.

She drove to the stadium fast as she just wanted to get rid of the mess. While reaching the stadium, what caught her attention was the flex board. Her breath hitched seeing the bold black letters printed on it. She couldnt see the pictures of the people as it was all decorated with streamers and other hangings.

'NATIONAL CLUB BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.'

"What the hell? I am not doing this at all." Shea's grip tightened around the steering as she closed her eyes shut as if to cut off the unwanted flashback which was about to pop out. The basketball championship, the only game which pulls her and pushes her. The game which was introduced to her by the man himself.

She remembered those days back in the college were she used to hate the game as well as love it later. The uncountable number of times, she was there to cheer for him. The same number of time, she was raised in the air within his arms. The days she could receive the trophy standing next to him with held high. Shea missed it a lot that she kept herself away from it all these five years.

Shea was brought back to senses when the car horned from behind her non stop. She looked behind through the rare view mirror and cursed under her breath. The road was fully packed and she had no place to take a U turn which means she have to get in no matter what.

She slowly stepped on the accelerator and moved behind the car in front of her with at most care. Her vampire self some how started to pop out as she was really angry and pissed out. She parked the car after half an hour near a cafe and stepped out. Shea felt sick to the stomach because of the thought of the game and that was a relief because she actually forgot that hundreds of people were surrounding her.

"Watch were you are standing, little girl." a man shouted while bumping on her.

"You can see that I have been standing here and still you bumped me on purpose and then on top giving me advice?" Shea spoke while her words were wrapped in sarcasm.

"The kids these days have no manners." the man muttered while giving her a glare.

"The old men these days walk as if they are the next Gallilleo Gallili, watching sky and counting stars." She snapped back loud enough for the man to hear."

Shea frowned when she noticed that the man actually left without listening to her powerful diss. She opened the back door of the car and pulled out the drinks without slipping them. The boxes were heavy enough that she wondered how to carry it inside. Shea obviously can lift it using her one hand but not among humans. She stood there sighing in defeat.

"May I?" a young boy asked scratching his head.

"Would you?"

"If you let me." he smiled taking one of the boxes from her.

"Its okay, I can do it myself. You dont have to bother." Shea said while bowing down to the boy.

"Its okay for me too because anyways I am headed to the stadium." the boy smiled showing his bunny like teeth and doe eyes which formed the shape of the moon.

"Thankyou." Shea whispered while walking into the stadium with the box. She have to admit that she was getting beyond surprised as the stadium looked really cool and loud.

"Whom is this for? Do you perhaps know the name?" the boy asked.

"I dont know the name of any.... yea yea... its for Q." Shea smiled and the boy returned it.

"Follow me." The boy walked in front while Shea followed him and that walk ended in the dressing lounge of the players.

"Hyung.. are these for you? the boy asked the captain who was resting his leg.

"Fai, give it to the players and settle the bill too." the deep raspy voice spoke but it was not loud enough for her to hear as the whole stadium is going nuts.

"How much is the bill?" the boy asked waving his hands over Shea's face.

"WEIRD GUY." that was the only thing that came out of her mouth.
