Alex looked around and felt nothing. It was the void he so longed for.

*Air hissing*

Alex covers his eyes when he hears something open.

"Nice, you scored a B rank rating in the test simulation. Try hard for next year's exam and you should get into a really good company."

Alex looked around visibly confused. This wasn't anywhere close to where he was before.

"Hmmm, it seems you are suffering some side affects. Go see the nurse Mrs kimmy and she should fix you up with a mind calming potion."

Alex just stared at the man in front of him. There were dozens of pods all around him and multiple were still closed. The man who bad woken up had a dignified aura and was wearing a black lab coat.

He walked away when he heard a ding from another pod. When he pressed a button and opened it he said a different grade rating.

"C rank, You sadly failed this test. Train harder for the next exam or you will sadly not graduate."

Alex stopped watching and got out the pod, when he looked at it closely their were circuits imbedded in the gelatin like bed. It was definitely some high tech stuff.

When he was at his feet he took a deep breath of fresh air only for pain to assault him once again. Memories, lots of them at that. Alex kneeled to the ground in pain and blood came from biting his lip. Apparently he had transmigrated once again. The original owner of this body was also named Alex except his last name was gloxen.

*World background*

This world is name kustar and is one of the many planets under the Magic Star Foundation. This foundation is ranked fifth among the thousands of sects/organizations and is currently battling the Dragon Empowerment sect for the fourth rank. The simulation he had just went through was specifically designed by the Magic Star Academy to develop future explorers and dungeon divers. There are multiple cities built on kustar and the current one our MC is in is called Gorden City. This city was named after the SSS-Rank dungeon break that was solved by a group of dungeon divers. The leader of this group was named Gorden and in honor of his dedication to the city. They changed the name of it.

There are multiple races that live on this planet and slavery does exist. Although some races have protection laws and its uncommon to see them, doesn't mean that they will never be seen. There are Orcs, Elves, Dwarfs, AL, Beastmen, and the Kashtar.

This planet used to belong to the Kashtar, but after they went to war with the Foundation and lost they lost their territories as well. They could be distinctrd from humans for their long canines, pale white skin, and a tale of some kind.

The AL is a artistically developed race that came from a branch of the human race. Most of them are part of the number 1 organization, the God Galaxy Empire. The AL'S had actually rose up and killed their own creators then mass produced themselves. After a huge Civil War, they submitted to the leader of the God Galaxy Empire.

Back to the city of Gorden, Alex is currently taking the 3rd test of the magical aptitude test to determine which magical ranking he would have. The rankings are M-SSS rank.

*Mc's perspective*

Alex finally recovered from sorting out his memories. He appears to be a student at this academy. Although he doesn't intend to try and be outstanding, he will do the minimal work to get better. He only has a single friend in this entire school and that is Alexis Polaris. The Polaris family is actually a very high ranking family as one of the members of the Gorden group was a descendant of the Polaris family. Alex's family was a branch family of the gorden group and was not that high up as he was born from a beastkin servant. Alex slapped away his black tail as he sorted through his memories.

"This feels so weird~"

Alex said as he stroked his cat ears. His white hair contradicted his black ears as did his natural blue eyes. He stopped touching them when he noticed he was receiving weird looks from people leaving. Alex decided it was time to go as well as he figured out the way to roof. This is apparently the spot that he was supposed to meet Alexis and she wasn't here yet. Alex leaned against the edge and looked out at the city. Taking in a breath of air he smelled the wonderful city air and looked as cars flew past him. What surprised him the most was the other planet that was super close to them. And what surprised him even further was the building connecting the two planets. There was a light blue shield over the building though and on the other planets surface was this huge building that was pulsating. He could only infer that it was the same here.

Alex sighed at this, it seems that all that pain and suffering wasn't real. An image of Risa's face flashed through his mind. A tear slid down his face when he heard someone behind him.

"How long have you been waiting?"

It was Alexis, but when Alex saw her he almost blurted out Risa. They looked almost identical, how is this possible. Alexis noticed Alex staring at her and his tail was waving back and forth. She pushed her hair back and avoided his eyes. "If you take a picture it may la-"

*Flash*

She didn't get to finish when Alex had pulled out his phone by instinct and took a picture. Alexis immediately blushed hard while Alex looked at the weird hologram device he just pulled out.

"Anyways what was your rating."

"B-Rank."

"Wow that's pretty high, I got an S-Rank. I had broken through in the simulation and not I'm at Bone Refinement Realm."

Alex showed a surprised face and now that he was paying attention he could see that their was a strong aura around her.

"Anyways, I was wanting to see if you want t in come to my house?"

She said it almost too innocently as Alex almost said yes but stopped himself.

"I'm sorry I have something else to do."

It wasn't that he was too dense to understand her intention to get closer to him but he needed to train back to his old self. That meant that torturous training he had to endure.

Alex cried internally, it seems that none of his progress carried over. But it's okay he is determined to get stronger very, very soon.

Alexis looked down sadly before saying goodbye. She was planning on inviting Alex to her familys guild today but it seemed like she would have to do it in the future.

Alex also said goodbye and left. He actually had a hoverbike that was the second newest model. Putting on his red helmet he turned it on and sped away. Only now that he forgot where he lived.
