You don't remember?

Shen Li felt that he was lucky. He was not only alive but he was also happy that he got the revenge that he had planned to take. More than that, he was happy to follow her because she reminded him of his mother. Even though there was not a big age gap between them, he still felt that she was more mature than any female that he had ever come across her age. He didn't care about the things that he saw in the forest nor did her care whether she would kill him or not. He simply didn't want to be left alone. So, he decided to be a little obedient guy and follow her every command. She was so different from the rumors that surrounded her. But he didn't want to care about anything, being with her was good.

Soon, Amelia came towards the small stream. Putting Shen Li down, she walked towards the stream. Her image could be seen appearing on the clear water surface. When she saw her image, she was surprised to see the face of this body. It was not exactly like her face but it was quite similar to hers apart from the fact that it was a little dull. She touched her face and out of her instinct, she felt that something was wrong with her face.

But what?

Amelia didn't feel focusing on this matter for now. First, she needed to sort out her identity and then fill her stomach. However, as she looked at her face in the clear water, many questions started to bother her.

Who was this little girl?

Why did she look so similar to her?

Why was she doing in this forest?

And why was she dressed up in an ancient costume?

Taking the water, Amelia washed her face and quickly washed away the drops of blood onto her skin and hands. She glanced at the boy standing behind her, observing her moves. "Little Li, are you not afraid that I will kill you?" she inquired.

Shen Li shook his head. He didn't know why but he didn't feel like she would kill him. "No," he replied.

"Aren't you curious about me?" she asked next.

Shen Li shook his head, then nodded, and then again he shook his head. "But, I don't want to know," he answered. It was fine if she didn't tell him about all those things. He didn't want to know why her eyes turned red, why her teeth got longer and why she drank his blood. It is said the less you know somebody secret, the longer you will live.

Hearing his words, Amelia smirked. This little guy was extremely pleasing and smart for the kids his age. If she trained him properly, then he will become a good successor for her. Simply thinking of throwing over her company to the little guy and making herself free, made her happy. "Sometimes, it's good to know less." Amelia praised and patted his little head. Sitting down on the little rock next to the stream, her mouth twitched when her stomach grumbled loudly indicating that it needed food. This was a quite different sensation to her. As vampires don't need to eat, they never cared about food and stuffs likes these. They needed blood to remain alive and healthy.

Now, that she was in a human body, she could feel this feeling of being hungry. Although the blood she had sucked on earlier gave her a little energy, it was not enough. She needed more. First, she needed to fill her stomach before doing anything else. Her eyes gazed towards the forest, her ear alert to listen to the sounds of any animal nearby. If possible, maybe she can be lucky and hunt down some animals.

However, before going on hunting for food, she decided to know everything about this body about this weird place. "Little li, tell me something about myself."

Shen Li frowned. "You don't remember?"

Amelia shook her head. "Someone beat me on the head. Maybe that's why I forgot many things," she informed.

Shen Li nodded. "It must be the eldest miss. She was the one who lead you here and gave them money to destroy your life. "

Amelia frowned. "Eldest Miss? Who is she?"

Shen Lin sighed, thinking that she really forgot all about herself. In a way, he thought that it was good. Compared to her previous self, he felt that this one was better. Working with those people, he was highly skilled to collect information. It was his job and he was good at it. So, when they got the money for hurting her, he began to stalk her and collect information about her.

Before she was like a fool, a weak woman who didn't know how to protect herself and think clearly, an immature woman, undisciplined and stupid. But now, she was different. Pointing towards Amelia, he began to narrate everything he knew about her, "Your name is Jiang Yu. You are the Great General Jiang's second daughter, the second miss of the Jiang Mansion. And the one who wants your life is your Eldest Sister, Jiang Muxun. Currently, we are in the mystical forest which is very far away from the capital."

"Okay," Amelia nodded with a frown on her face. The more she heard from him, the more things started to feel weird. Why doesn't it look like a modern era? What is going on? "Now, why was this eldest miss, I mean my elder sister trying to kill me?"

"She hates you and is jealous of the love you receive from your father."

Amelia frowned. Huh? Jealous because the original owner receives more love from her father? Is this reason enough to kill her? But aren't they sisters belonging to the same father? Or is there something with this eldest miss's mind? Or is the original owner a stepdaughter? Maybe she is! Otherwise, why would a sister want to kill her own sister?
