Compensation

"You got in my carriage without my permission, you ate my sweets, you slept in my carriage, you stunned my guard and now you stole my first kiss. I need a big compensation!!!" Murong Jinzhi demanded.

Amelia glared at him.

Damn Arrogant Handsome Man!!!! Give him an inch and now, he's asking for a mile.

He needs compensation, right?

Humph! She will give it to him right now. A compensation that he will never remember.

"I have the perfect compensation for you," Amelia smirked and looked into his eyes.

Murong Jinzhi looked back at her curiously. What kind of compensation could she give him? He was excited but his face remained calm.

Immediately, when he looked into her eyes, Amelia smiled and her eyes turned red. Again, a deep power surged from her and she opened her mouth to command. "FORGET ABOUT THE KISS. FORGET ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED SINCE YOU MET ME."

Murong Jinzhi looked at her blankly and his eyes began to lose focus.

Amelia smirked, knowing that he was under her trance. It always worked and that's why she loved this power of hers. She could control anyone at any time. "NOD YOUR HEAD AND LET ME KNOW THAT YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT ME."

Murong Jinzhi looked at her for a second before he began to nod his head.

"Great," Amelia laughed. "AFTER I LEAVE THE CARRIAGE, YOU'LL TURN BACK TO NORMAL."

Murong Jinzhi looked at her blankly as if he was just a puppet.

Shen Li was surprised. He couldn't help but be amazed by the intensity of her powers. She could even control the great Crown Prince whom everybody feared. Wow!!!! Miss Jiang was so great...

After making sure that both of them had completely forgotten about her and Shen Li, Amelia sighed in relief. She wiped the sweat from her forehead and fell back onto the cushion. After using so much of power, she was hungry and tired. She needed to eat something or drink blood to replenish her strength and her energy.

"Miss Jiang, are you okay?" Shen Li asked.

Amelia panted and took a deep breath. She looked at him and patted his little head. "I am a little hungry..." she said and pointed towards her grumbling belly.

Shen Li was stunned. He looked at her stomach as if he was seeing a black hole. How much food does her little stomach need?

"Little Li, let's go. We have a lot of work to do today," she said.

Shen Li nodded. He looked back at the Crown Prince and asked, "What about him?"

"Don't worry. He won't remember us. Also, we will never meet him again." she said confidently.

Shen Li looked at her smile and nodded. "I hope so."

Amelia smiled, grabbing him by his wrist, she hugged him and flashed out from the carriage. This time, Shen Li wasn't surprised because he knew she was be doing this. He grabbed onto her tightly and closed his eyes, feeling the fresh wind touching his face. The moment, Amelia and Little Li flashed out of the carriage, the magic broke.

The shadow guard turned back to normal, blinked his eyes, and before he could understand what was going on, he fell forwards onto his face. His nose crashed right onto the surface of the carriage and he couldn't help but let out a painful groan.

Huh? How did he fell?

The shadow guard got up, rubbed his nose that was turning red and swollen. He frowned with a puzzled look. What was going on? For a second, his mind was blank. He tried to recall something but he couldn't remember. He felt as if he had forgotten something. But what?

He frowned and his eyes fell on his sword. Huh? Why was he holding this sword? At this moment, an image flashed in his mind. He recalled that when his Master's carriage was passing by the Mystical forest, they were suddenly ambushed. They had a big battle with those people in black clothes.

So, where was he now?

It didn't look like the Mystical Forest to him. Instead, it looked as if he was sitting in somebody's carriage. Who? And why? Did those black-clothed guys capture him? The shadow guard shook his head feeling that something didn't seem right. He remembered that they had already killed all of those black-clothed people send to assassinate the Crown Prince. After that, what happened?

How could he not remember anything?

The shadow guard narrowed his suspiciously. His mind was completely blank. How? Why can't he remember anything? Just when he was forcing himself to recall something, he suddenly felt a sharp gaze onto his body. Immediately, his eyes went wide and his blood rang cold. He was extremely familiar with that cold gaze. His body went stiff as if he was not sitting on the soft cushion but on a stack of needles ready to kill him at any given moment.

He turned his head and his eyes met a pair of cold, dark eyes. The shadow guard gulped and his body began to tremble in fear. "M-master?" he stammered.

Murong Jinzhi looked at him slowly.

With each and every passing second, the shadow guard could fell his heart beating faster. His entire back was covered in sweat. Now, he realized that he was inside his Master's carriage. But why? Why would he enter hsi Master Carriage? How come he could not remember anything? Was their something wrong with his mind?

The shadow frowned while his heart was gripped with fear.

"How did we come to the capital?" Murong Jinzhi questioned, his voice turning sharper.

"I-I..... I don't remember anything," The shadow guard stammered honestly.

"What do you remember?"

"Nothing," The shadow guard answered with head bowed down in submission. He dared not look at his Master because he seriously didn't know what was going on.

"Get out!!!" Murong Jinzhi commanded.

"Yes, Master." The shadow guard obeyed his command. He flashed out of the carriage with a puzzled look on his face. He didn't know why he entered the carriage nor could he remember anything after that. After coming out of the carriage, he looked at another guard.

"What were you doing inside the carriage for so long?"

"I don't know," The shadow guard shrugged.

"What????"

"BACK TO THE PALACE!!!" Murong Jinzhi's voice commanded from inside the carriage.
