Chapter 12

Vega's Journey to Jeglaxath & Her Stay

The journey to Jeglaxath had been exhausting, king Kong fell ill on our way there due to the intruder slashing him with his poisonous knife. Thankfully, the poison wasn't a rare poison so the antidote was quite easy to get. After hours of driving, we arrived at the edge of the forest. He led me through the forest till we reached a well, he told me to jump in. I stood there staring into the well my confusion evident on my face untill he pushed me in.

My screams echoed around the wallsof the well until I landed on a bunch of hay. Getting up, I dusted myself up and seconds later king Kong fell from the well. As we continued on our journey we saw some men dressed in black clothing standing beside an equally black car. We hopped in and even though I didn't know where we are heading to, I had long decided to trust King Kong.

Reaching our destination we all got down,I didn't get the chance to look around because within seconds a black cloth was placed over my head and I was knocked out. Once I regained consciousness, the first thing I felt was a piercing pain in my head accompanied by body pains. I tried wiggling my way out of the zip ties although all my efforts proved to be useless. I heard the door open and the cloth was removed from my head, the lights immediately rushed into my eyes temporarily blinding me.

Blinking profusely seemed to work. The person in front of me dragged a chair and took a sit in front me. I recognized the person instantly, not from the fact that the person is drop dead gorgeous but for the fact that this was the dark lord of the underworld, Siobhan White, one of the most dangerous man on the planet. I was too lost in thought to notice that Queen Aluria and her husband Ludwig had walked into the room.

I was brought out of my day dream with a slap to the cheek by one of the Guards. Then I saw their majesty's standing before me, the queen sat down In front of me with a very questioning look before Siobhan started questioning me as to why I had lied to them about helping them to find a dead man.

At first I was surprised as to how they knew that Ambrose was dead. Knowing fully well that answering a question with a question could get me killed, I decided to keep my mouth shut. I didn't utter a word, Siobhan also asked if I knew where Diana was to which I didn't answer, this time I was punched in the face. Blood dripped out of the corner of my mouth.

He asked again I didn't answer, not because I couldn't but because I didn't want to die. Either way if I said anything or nothing I was still going to get killed, so why not die with the truth. Now I couldn't tell Siobhan's patience was running out when he pointed a gun at me ready to fire, I was ready to accept my faith when Queen Aluria held his hand to stop him from killing me saying that I could be of great help to them and with that I was knocked out again.
