The Climb

When Ilona woke up, the skies were light grey, signaling that the sun would be up soon.  She had slept curled up with Mason, his arms around her, keeping her warm.  She had been worried he would get cold, but he had assured her he was fine and it was an unusually warm night.

After today, she hoped they wouldn't have to worry about being cold any longer.  One of the things she desperately wanted to find aboard her ship was a blanket or two.

After waking up her sleeping Prince, they both went out to the beach to take in the sight of the ship now that it was getting lighter and try to devise a plan.  Growing up a pirate, Ilona had much more experience with such things than Mason did, so he left it mostly up to her.
