Later that morning.....
Heejin was sitting in class, looking out at the window and watching the gym class outside playing kickball, Sunni being in it and Heejin found it amusing to see her friend enjoying herself.
She sat was involuntarily sitting in a gossip desk circle, a few girls turning their desk to face her's as they talked about random things that didn't interest Heejin one bit.
"Right, Heejin?" One of the girls asked as if Heejin was listening to any word she was saying
"Yeah, whatever" Heejin said dismissively waving her hand to carry in with their very Intriguing conversation
" oh! So you agree you'd look good with Hyesung?!" One of the girls gasped, as the rest of the girls all gushed happily
Heejin' ahead turned so fast that looked like she caught whiplash, the girls backed away a little in fear at the clear disgust in Heejin's face
"What did you say?" She said lowly
"Myeong asked you if you agreed that you would look good with Hyesung" one of the girls said as her voice slightly trembled
"Weren't you listening to our conversation?" One of the other girls asked
"No, I wasn't listening because all of you guys ever banter about is boys and your insecurities, how could I listen to that and stay this sane" Heejin grumbled as she crossed her arms and went back to see that Sunni's class had already went back into the gym, causing her to miss seeing her friend win the kickball game or not
"We're sorry Heejin, we won't talk about that stuff anymore!" The girl named Myeong said as the rest of the girls eagerly nodded their heads
Heejin looked at them in disbelief, she never seen someone so complacent to please her, it was giving her second-hand embarrassment to the point that it hurt her soul.
"Hey girls, Mind if I speak with Heejin for a minute in private?" Her saving grace and savior, the tall and aristocratic Mr. Lee, aka Juda
Yes they call him, Mr lee. Heejin thought it was a kink of his that every girl that crossed paths with him had to call him Mr. Lee, but he says his mom calls him that and he is just used to the honorific.
Which is still kinda questionable.....
"Sure thing, Mr. Lee" one of the girls said as the girls had up and left to the other side of the class, leaving the two friends alone
"Thank you for saving me, you're superiority Mr. Lee" Heejin said sarcastically as he chuckled and sat down next to her
"I was giving them the fortune of lengthening their life spans for a couple more years, only god knows what look of yours can do to the human psyche"
It was true, it was rumored back in 3rd grade that Heejin's stare can either turn you to stone, or liquid. To know the validity of this rumor, 7 year old Bora, who had to endure the consequences of the class's social experiment, had peed his pants after getting one look of disgust from Heejin after he had offered her sweets.
She hated sweets.
This memory made the two friends burst into a laughing fit "Poor bora, our sacrificial lamb"
"So, anyways. I came here to invite you and Sunni to Nabi's surprise party" Juda said one their laughter died down a little
"I don't know, Minnie will probably be there" Heejin said as she shrugged her shoulders
Minnie was a nickname that Heejin had Developed for the handsome ladder, She liked to mock him by using it.
"Of course he'll be there, but can you guys atleast try and behave? It's for our Nabi's birthday!" Juda said pleadingly as he pouted, even though his not so cute charm could not sway Heejin
But it was true, it was her dearest Nabi's birthday party.
"He stays as far away from me the whole party and we're good"
