"So, You are going out with the Lee's daughter?" Mrs. Na said with a hopeful tone as she entered her son's room
Mrs. Na was a loving yet overbearing mother that showered Hyesung with love and adoration, him being the type to deny that he wasn't the same when he loves someone although he was his mother's son.
"Which Lee's? there's like millions" Hyesung said looking down at his homework as he sat at his desk
He was way behind on homework and didn't need his mother barging into his room talking about random things like she usually did.
"Lee Heejin" His mom answered
Hyesung eyes widdened and he sharply turned around to look at his mother in astonishment
"Mom! Who told you about that?!"
Hyesung questioned loudly that his mother could feel the house shake a little
"Some of the Moms in my book club have daughters that go to your school," Mrs. Na said as she shrugged her shoulders sheepishly at her son
"Those bitches" Hyesung mumbled to himself as he gritted his teeth angrily and pulled at his hair slightly in frustration
"invite Heejin to our big dinner next month" His mom said
The big dinner she referred to was a monthly dinner they do that involves his mother cooking a huge feast that is attended by some of Hyesung'a family members, and they all eat together and hang out.
"Why would i do that? She isn't my gi-" Hyesung was about to protest but his mother cut him off
"I don't want any excuses Hyesung, you invite my future daughter in law for dinner" His mom said and she walked out of his room before he could say anything else to say.
-
Hyesung walked into the school with a smile that could make any girl faint the second they walked past him but that smile soon altered as his eyes landed on the girl he was looking for.
He walked up to her and grabbed her arm, pulling her to the side.
"Hands off, Na" Heejin hissed lowly
"I have to talk you" He whispered to her as he had a forced smile on his face seeing that students were giving them wierd looks
"You're talking to me right now, and I'm annoyed enough. So, i'll take my leave" She said trying to get out of his strong grip
"I need to talk you but not here" He said and he took her somewhere secluded, pulling her softly by her arm along with him
They were on the schools roof and an annoyed Heejin tapped her foot, waiting impatiently for Hyesung to speak.
"I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend" He said
Heejin almost chocked on air and looked at Hyesung to see if he was being serious, and by the looks of it; he was.
His mother may be an overbearing person but he hated to disappoint her and he knew his mother, there is no way she'll believe him if he makes up an excuse, and will keep persisting.
"Why?!" Heejin exclaimed in disbelief
"Because my mom somehow heard the rumors between us and assumed they were real, and she wants you to come to one of our stupid big dinners" He said shrugging his shoulders
"And what will i get out of this?! The loss of my mental stability and my dignity?" Heejin exclaimed even louder
"Guys will stop flirting with you, I know you hate them bugging you all the time" Hyesung said
He had a point.
Heejin always had guys try and flirt with her, and got many confessions on the daily, it was a very annoying thing that happens mostly every single day, and Heejin grew tired of it even more as days passed.
If people thought she was dating Hyesung, The guys will stop bugging her and a small percent of girl will stop bugging her too.
It seemed like the right comprise and it seemed like she couldn't pass this opportunity up.
"I'll do it, but don't cross the line Na or they'll have to dig you out after I'm done with you, we good?"
