Loin's Pov

The five of them decided to proceed on their plan.

"Gather some important stuffs to protect yourselves like knives or-"  Maiko froze after seeing Jair raising two guns.

"How about these?" He said.

"Holy cheese man!" Kaile exclaimed in surprise.

"I just thought I should bring some." Jair shrugged his shoulders.

"Under my bed seriously?" Loin blurted in disbelief.

All of them look at Loin with an obvious expression.

"What?" He added.

"Dude you are the only person who don't even care whatever happens in your surroundings." Kaile said making them nodd.

"I know but- hold on have you seen her?" Loin asked while looking around.

"See who?" Jair asked.

"The woman I met yesterday?" Loin said.

The four of them look at each other and Maiko spoke. "We only saw your door was already open so we got in."

Loin thought carefully he isn't mistaken she brought a girl on his room last night and they f*ucked.

"You must be dreaming." James said.

"Right, its impossible to see Loin Vaun Dalle bringing a woman on his bed." Jair grinned.

A sudden voice was heard outside taking our attention.

"Guys where are you this isn't fu-"

Before he could speak a sudden sharp leg hit him in the head. The leg is similar to a spider but the confusing part was the way it moves.

The leg was moving like it was pumping more like sucking the man from his brain.

"Sh*t." Jair blurted.

The creature suddenly look at their way and shouted in a very loud voice.

"Guys! I think we need to ran now!" Kaile shouted and drag us out.

As we ran out of the room we hear the loud breaking sound from the room.

"This is freaking crazy!" James exclaimed in fear as they got out of the nipa hut.

A lot of human eater were walking differently while dragging their spilled intestines from the ground.

Loin felt his knees are trembling in fear earlier it was just a bit nervousness but now this is actually getting serious.

"Compose yourself Loin!" Jair said and started shooting the unknown creature.

The loud sound of the gun made the boneless look on their way.

"This is bad run to that way fast!" Jair shouted.

"I think they can't see us but they can hear us." Maiko said and signed to head at the hallway of the resort.

"I got an idea hopefully your guess was right Maiko." Kaile said and broke the emergency glass on the side.

"Kaile!" Loin shouted but Kaile ignored him.

"Save your asses you bastards." He smiled.

"What the-" Jair dragged him away without looking back.

He saw Kaile hitting the fire extinguisher with rock and pushed the fire alarm.

The four of them got into the hotel the place is already ruined and filled with blood.

They hide behind the large sofa and crawled to peep outside.

"What the f*ck was that Jair." Loin said while gritting his teeth in anger.

"I'm sorry Loin but Kaile decided to go on his own to look for Aleah. We lied before the bloody night we accidentally heard the car's radio about the breakout of unidentified virus. He told me to take action whatever happens." Jair explained.

"You what-"

"Shhh." Maiko shushes them and listened carefully on the surroundings.

"H-help p-please help me." A girl's voice was heard begging for help.

He look at the guys who was still doubting to help the little girl.

Loin can't help but speak up. "Where are you?" He asked.

A sudden crawling movement was heard behind them making Loin gulp.

"I'm stuck." The little girl answered behind their hidden spot.

"Which spot are you hiding?" James asked looking nervous.

"Right... behind you."

The sofa was ripped apart accidentally hitting jair creating a long cut on his back making him shout in pain.

The three of them were too shock to move as the little girl's bones were breaking and slowly changing into an unknown creature.

Jair's blood was flooding in the ground he could see that the creature was about to hit them with its sharp claws.

He close his eyes in fear but a sudden loud explosion was heard in front of them.

They felt a sticky and smelly hot liquid had covered them making Maiko peeped.

"What are you watching an action movie over here!" The man shouted at them making them came back to their senses.

"Jair!" James said pointing out.

Loin and Maiko assisted Jair and they ran towards the man.

The man was holding a shot gun while checking the parameters for them.

As they approached them the man signed them to head into the said car.

"That's my car over their however a lot of human eater was walking around anyone who knows how to drive?" The man ask and look at them with a meaningful look.

"Hold on. Look at them are they-"

"Sniffing?" Loin blurted as he stare at the human eaters moving towards them.

"Its your friend's blood get to the car!" The man shouted and started shooting while running to the left side.

Loin ran on the other side and shouted.

"Over here! You guys follow that mister!" He exclaimed.

The human eaters ran and headed on his way Loin grab the bucket on the side making it as his shield.

He notice the man has arrived on his car signing him.

But before he could ran another creature ran and jump towards him.

"Look out!" Maiko shouted.

It was a similar creature who jumped towards him.

A loud gunshot was heard dropping the tailed creature on the ground.

"Get inside!" The man said and opened the door for him.

Loin got inside the car and they headed to the exit area as they passed the road they could hear a cruchy lump on the road.

James closed his eyes and they tried to ignore the dead bodies on their way.

"What the hell was that earlier it was a kid how come it suddenly shifted." James blurted.

"There is a first aid kit in the secret chamber through the back." The man said while looking at them through the mirror.

As they passed by a lot of people were turning some were begging for help.

They can clearly see how those monsters devour their preys which are humans.

"Kaile." Loin clench his fist while gritting his teeth in anger.

Maiko notice him and tap his shoulder.

"I'm sure Kaile is safe that guy is smart." Maiko comforted him.

Loin just nodded and tried to be strong he checked his phone but there is no signal at all.

As he was about to speak Loin was confuse on Maiko's stares.

"How come you own a shotgun." Maiko ask and grab Jair's gun.

"You are quiet observant young man." The man grinned.

"Does it matter Maiko as long as we are safe besides he helped us." James said.

"It does, because this isn't his car." Maiko added.

"What the."

"Name is Dan Hornet, I'm an ex-convict... Just got free and was about to meet my kid in the resort." He's voice became sad but he continued to talk.

"I got jailed due to stealling cars in order to save my kid. He was about to have a heart transplant that time so I don't have a choice." He added.

Maiko loosen his grip with the gun and asked. "What happened?"

"We were so happy that night when a sand creature killed him in front of me." Dan's voice stuttered and look at Loin.

"I'm sorry to hear that." James said.

"He was the same age as you." Dan said referring to Loin.

"My friends and I were suppose to have a wonderful vacation however, this human eaters came up one of our friend Kaile was left and saved us." Maiko said and no longer continued.

Loin didn't bother to listen and just stared at the window.

"Your friend looks seriously injured we need to head to a hospital do you have any idea where?" Dan asked.

"Hold on. Juan B. Dosado memorial hospital is the nearest one its a 14mins drive." James answered.

"Right, but the question is how sure are we that the hospital is not contaminated." Maiku said.

"Why don't we give it a try." Loin suggested.

"Let's just hope we can find help." James added.

They arrive at the said hospital which is a bit wider and a whole groundfloor only.

"A lot of human eaters have been around the area the car might stuck if we take it in." Dan said.

"Can I just stay at the car?" James said.

"Thats a good idea someone might take our car away when we got in." Maiko said.

"What's the plan?" Dan asked.

"Let's gather some medical supplies first and some blood supply for Jair looking at his appearance his losing a lot of blood." Loin said which they agreed.

"Remember the one with the scattered intestine they can't see us but they have a strong smell and hearing. Maybe we should remove our shoes before getting in." Maiko reminded them.

"I'll watch over Jair take care mates." James said and closed the door.

Loin took a deep breathe and headed first, followed by Dan and Maiko.

The ambulance have been a mess and the smell of dead people were all around the area.

"This place was supposedly for patients but now its filled with dead bodies and flies more like a morgue area." Dan whispered.

"Let's check every room and take some meds for Jair." Maiko said and signed them to spread.

Loin checked the front while Dan and Maiko headed at the back.

As he got in the hospital is a mess and some lights are blinking.

A voice was heard making him hide on the other room. A running creature appeared while his back was looking around.

Good thing he manage to slide the door close.

"What kind of monster is this." He thought.

When the monster passes by he slowly move and take out his phone. Loin turned on his flashlight and look around the area.

Shelves were seen and some medicines were scattered on the ground he also saw a dead body lying on the floor.

He almost gasped on nervousness and continued to move on the other way.

Loin take the nurse bag and grab some medicines and bandages. He took some injections and some inhalers.

The movement on the back shelf made him froze, he immediately turned around and spotted the dead body which is no longer in the side.

"Sh*t." He cursed and ran into the door.

Good thing he manage to move and close the door back hitting the man on the glass.

The dead body was already infected and he saw how it slowly turned into one of the boneless zombies.

Loin almost forgot the creature outside and didn't hesitate to ran outside the hospital while the other one was after him.

When he turned around he found out that the monster who was after him didn't followed him outside.

He was able to see it clearly and trace its appearance.

Its face is blank but the body seems to lose its skin for you can see its wet muscle dripping a liquid stuff.

Loin saw its back who looks like a human was eaten whole from his back.

The man's figure was seen clearly on its back like its mouth is made from his spinal cord.

"He's afraid of the daylight." He thought.

An idea came to his mind and headed to the crashed ambulance in the wall.

He saw a hose near the faucet outside and grab it. Loin tied the hook needles around the edge of the hose.

When his finally done he goes back and saw the monster gritting his teeth at him.

He acted like a cowboy who was about to catch a bull.

Loin spinned the hose into the air and throws it towards the monster.

The needles was stuck on his chest making the monster groan in pain.

He throwed the other edge locking to his back and pulled the monster.

Its hand was expose in the daylight suddenly smoked like it was burning from the light.

Loin was about to enjoy his successful plan but it immediately fades when the boneless began to regroup.

Earlier it was lesser but now all of it were gathering around Dan and Maiko saw him and signed to move.

"Over here!" Maiko shouted.
