Trapped To The Bet

Miraya was so happy and didn't stop grinning to see her boyfriend Dylan attracted before racing. She clapped her hand enthusiastically to his performance. Meanwhile, Dylan loved to bet the center of the attention, and he even blinked his right eyes at Miraya through the attraction.

'Oh, he's so handsome!' Miraya praised him 24/7 nonstop. She also frowned at some girls beside her who were shouting Dylan's name repeatedly.

The girls also gave her glares at her, but she didn't give a budge.

She even put both his hand on her cheek to adore him that much. She couldn't let her eyes out of him at all. Dylan, who finished showing off, realized Miraya, then came to flirt with her.

"Hi, Babe. I knew you'd come!" he stopped with his bike like a model in front of Miraya.

"Of course I am. I would never miss your race!" answered Miraya with a big grin. Dylan smirked at her praised and turned his head to some loud cheers on his side. He thought it was him, but another biker suddenly showed up.

That man used sport motorbike with the latest engine. He stopped right next to Dylan with his closed full-face helmet. They gazed at each other, but that man did not open his visor to show his half-face nor even speak.

Someone from the crowd then came to introduce the new racer to Dylan Steven.

"Hey, Dylan. He'll be against you tonight!" pointed the long hair man that Miraya never knew his real name. But all the people who called him "The Echo" means he was someone that always announced the racing. Dylan smirked at him arrogantly.

Mostly the racing was doing on an abandoned highway, bridge, or deserted roads. And there has always been a place for illegal races like this. The police could not arrest them because most of them were from elite and high political status levels.

Some prestigious racers initiated illegal racing, were bored with rules on the circuit, and preferred the racing to have fun. Furthermore, some bikers then added the icing on the top by betting the sum amount of money.

"What are you? A newbie!" Dylan mocked the biker who wanted to challenge him. All of the people who surround them were laughing, including Miraya, who gave a big grinning.

The man did not say anything rather than pulled his accelerator handgrip as if he slapped back at him. Dylan grinned was changed into a flat face. His opponent indeed has a higher level of the machine than him.

"Say no more. Let's the battle begin!"

"WHOAA!" everyone yelled in happiness because the most viewed race would begin. All of the spectators would record the phenomenal race tonight. Therefore, Dylan could not let the stranger get the spotlight. He would never lose his reputation as the most charming biker in that place, especially to a newbie. He would do anything to win.

Both of the bikers were on the line. Before the racing, The Echo would announce the sum of the money that they were betting.

Miraya stood next to Dylan and stroke his arm to give him the spirit. Meanwhile, Dylan was staring at his rival, who also turned his head at him to glance.

The biker then asked The Echo to get closer, and he whispered something. The Echo nodded and turned to Dylan to tell him about the request.

"He asked for more money, or he wanted a candy!" The Echo whispered to Dylan. He frowned at him then turned his head to glance at Miraya.

"How much he want?"

"100 million!"

"What! is he insane!" Dylan protested.

"100 million rupiahs is not a big deal for him. He would straightly give you the money if you win, but if he wins, he wants something else too!" Dylan took a deep breath then turned his head to glance at the unknown biker. He nodded at last and agreed with the bet.

"Tell him he can have my girlfriend escort him to the bar tonight. Only escorting, no touching!" Miraya popped her eyes, hearing Dylan. Wait, what did he say!

The Echo nodded and got closer to the biker to whisper the offer. The biker nodded and agreed to it. Miraya's eyes were rounded more to recognize that she was now part of the deal.

"W-What do you mean by this?" asked Miraya in the shocking face. Dylan stared at Miraya with his poisonous look.

"Babe, this is just an ordinary bet. I'll never let him win. Trust me; nothing will happen to you. On the contrary, I'll get the money!" Miraya shooked her head, but Dylan did not care. He put on his helmet and strapping it.

Miraya held her head with both of her hands then wished that Dylan would have won.

"What is he doing this to me!" shrieked Miraya, but no one listened to her.

Both of the bikers were ready for their engine. One of the sexy girls then stood on the side of the road; She threw her handkerchief in the air as the sign to start the racing. Just like the wind, both bikers accelerated their engines to race their motorbike to the finish line.

AT THE CLUB

Ariel ordered a few bottles of beers for him. Meanwhile, the girl in front of him chose to drink Coca-Cola. Nothing's wrong with that, but this was a nightclub. Who drank a coke at a nightclub these days? A middle-high school girl?

"Do you want to eat something?" Ariel asked Marcella, who did not speak to him since 10 minutes ago. They did not talk to each other yet.

"Uhm ... I already have dinner. What about you? You can eat if you want," replied Marcella kindly.

"I'm fine. I just got nut." Ariel grinned.

"I mean ... this nut!" he lifted a bowl of Almond as a snack. He was so nervous that the girl might think something else. Marcella beamed at him, and it made him felt a bit hot.

'Artemis is so lucky!' Ariel told his heart.

"So ... I'm here about ..." Ariel tried to start the conversation, but Marcella cut him.

"Tell me about yourself. Do you have siblings? brothers or sisters?" Ariel halted and was stunned for a second. The mission should be easy for him. He has to tell her to let go of the matchmaking.

Meanwhile, for Marcella, she has to find out more about him to tell Miraya everything. They have to cooperate so well so their father would not be suspicious.

"Uhm ... no, I don't have any siblings. I'm the only son of Brajamohan!" Ariel oddly smiled at Marcella. Marcella nodded and drank her coke from the straw.
