Another Chaos

There was about seven personnel of police officers who came to Katto's residence. It was including two detectives who handled the special case of the kidnap. Mandala has been expecting his children after midnight. Neither Miraya nor Marcella didn't home yet. After few hours passing midnight, he decided to call the cops.

It was not hard for Mandala Katto to request the police department to get into this case, although the twins were not missing for 24 hours. Mandala was one of the famous billionaires in Indonesia. He owns an enormous group of companies that handles everything from electronics to construction.

So, he has such much power to ask for any help from anyone. In the morning, two-car patrols of seven personnel visited him to get the information about the twins.

"Oh, gladly you come! Good morning!" Mandala gave out his hand to shake with one of the detectives.

"Good morning, Mr. Mandala. We already spread our officers in some of the possible spots, including the nightclub. We have searched, but they are still missing. But don't worry, we are also questioning some people in the club right now!" the police reported the case progress while another detective was peering around the giant living room.

Mandala nodded to the police and urged them to collect any information needed. Meanwhile, his wife, Sherly, was crying a lot since last night. She was nonstop praying for the twins to come home safely.

After 15 minutes of the police arrival, the main front door opened. Both Mandala and the detectives turned their heads to check incoming guests.

Mandala startled to see his daughters were walking through the door with their pale looks.

"Oh, my God. My babies!" he exclaimed shockingly and directly called his wife. Sherly, who was still praying on her couch not so far from her husband, stood up and cried.

"Miraya? Marcella?" Mandala Katto paced his walk to his daughter and hugged them shortly. Sherly also did the same thing with tears in her eyes. She sobbed hard when embracing both of her daughters. But Miraya and Marcella didn't show any panic or scared cast. They more like being hardly confused although they let the parents did whatever they wanted.

"What happened last night? Why didn't you come home?" Mandala exclaimed the question right after. The detectives were also approaching after a few seconds to watch the situation, but none said anything.

"We ... Uhm ... we have something to do, Dad!" Miraya answered with her odd grinning to her father. She glanced at her sister, asking for help. Marcella then added a few things that she thought would calm the situation.

"We were having fun at the club until morning. Unfortunately, it was so late to come home, and we don't want to bother your sleeping time. So we decided to stay at a hotel, yeah!" Marcella tried to make an excellent excuse which was seemed the tackiest one.

At their back, two meters away, Artemis and Ariel stood there like a statue. They even hold their breath and have a glimpse of each other when Marcella said her excuses. Artemis then leaned himself a bit to the left and whispered,

"Is she trying to get suicide? How's that going to work?" Ariel glared at him to the extent that Artemis would swallow his saliva because of the killing stares. Artemis knew at that moment; he should be quiet and watched the situation.

"But you switch off your phone. I even could not track your device at all!" Mandala was irritated with his daughter and scolded them. Sherly did not want her husband to scold their daughters for more, so she held his right arm to stop him. Both Artemis and Ariel widened their eyeballs and glimpsed at each other. This kind of father was a possessive type of Daddy, and it was not good news. They shouldn't come inside. Ariel's hand then touched Artemis's sidearm to code him.

"Let's go!" muttered Ariel, not making a sound at all. Artemis nodded right away and ready to flee. One step backward, then turned away to leave from the door. It was not far, only seven or eight feet left. But before their completely stepping back, the cops acknowledged them.

"Wait!" Ariel and Artemis froze at their feet. Miraya and Marcella abruptly hit that they forgot about the guys coming into the house with them. At the same time, Mandala and Sherly also did the same way. Mandala even steps ahead to observe the unfamiliar guys that came along his daughter.

Two detectives then approached and tried to identify Ariel and Artemis by asking them.

"May we know who you are, gentlemen?" asked one of the detectives with his unlikely glared. Both Ariel and Artemis widened their eyes and choked by their own words. None of them spoke until Miraya tried to determine the problem by introducing one of their names.

"Oh, Dad. That's Artemis Brajamohan!" exclaimed Miraya with high hope his father won't be mad anymore. She has to think fast to grab the attention as well as consolidate with her irritating father. The problem was she did not point to any two of them.

"Which one of you is Artemis Brajamohan?" asked the officer for more and were getting suspicious. Ariel ached to open his mouth, but Artemis was distancing himself a bit. He was scared that the police would recognize him from the illegal racing last night. But it made Mandala throwing his guess at Ariel.

"You are Artemis!" Mandala pointed at him excitedly. Miraya and Marcella opened her mouth due to the shockingly unexpected situation.

"But ..." Miraya tried to get into the chaos, but Mandala took his steps to embrace Ariel at his shoulder. He grabbed and distanced him more from the dumb look of original Artemis.

Ariel was still numbed and couldn't utter any words at all. He choked on his throat. Meanwhile, Mandala grabbed him and introduced to the police officers that he already found Artemis Brajamohan,

"This is the man who has a date with my daughter last night. So we could ask him! But please do not make it hard. I believe that they are just having fun. Hahaha!" Mandala even laughed at his silliness.

Meanwhile, Marcella could not cope with the situation anymore. She even could not close the mouth to the confusion.
