I'm Upset!

Ariel didn't put a glance at Marcella nor Miraya when he came out of the house. Artemis also followed him to the lobby and got inside Ariel's car immediately. After a few minutes of driving, Artemis could not hold his urge to talk. He felt regretful about how he did not help Ariel to solve the problem at all.

"I'm sorry!" Artemis muttered softly with a low head and fiddling his fingers. Ariel did not want to answer. He was so quiet and kept on driving.

"I know you are mad ..."

"I'm upset ... precisely!" Ariel cut curtly towards Artemis. Artemis shut his eyelids for a moment before taking a deep breath. Ariel must feel upset. He always did everything for Artemis, although he put himself in danger.

"I know!" Ariel put a glimpse at Artemis with a flat face and clenched jaw.

"If only you were not my brother, I'd probably kill you already!" he cursed with his low voice and a half raging breath. Artemis leaned his back head and turned his head to see the outside's view instead.

"I'm so scared, and I'm a coward!" Artemis hummed as if he talked to himself. Ariel, who heard about it, then sighed.

"I'm not mad at you because you didn't back me up. I'm mad because you tricked me. You lied to me by going to the illegal racing last night!" Ariel started raging by increasing his tone. He could not let Artemis be a spoiled kid who could do anything he desired.

"I didn't know it'll be like this!"

"Are you trying to defend yourself now? You promised me that you would never get there anymore. You promised me that you wouldn't find any more trouble. Now, look what you've done!" Ariel raged at Artemis right away. He did not resist his feelings. He wanted him to start thinking about risks each time he made a decision.

"I'm sorry, okay. I have no idea what I've done!" Artemis muttered in an upset and sad tone. He bowed his head and covered it with both palms. Ariel tried to calm himself down. Regardless, there was no use in throwing tantrums at Artemis right now.

"We must think of a way through this. Coz I have no idea what your Dad'll do if he knew about this!" blurted Ariel while driving. Artemis turned his face towards Ariel and gazing him up.

"What were you talking to the police before?" Ariel glanced and him and sighed. He swallowed some bitter reality facing right now.

"I told him that I am … you. Then I sold out your father's name," Ariel confessed to his previous acts. Artemis did not shock about what he did. He even nodded after.

"I believe you did the right thing …."

"I threatened him!" Artemis grew his eyeballs bigger than before this round.

"You did what!"

"I told him that he wanted to tangled Miraya Katto into the illegal racing's case last night so he might get rewards!" Ariel shrugged his shoulders and took a deep breath.

"What else did you say to him? How could he shake his hand on you then?" Artemis asked dumbfoundedly and kept on his gaze at Ariel.

"I threatened him that your father Ajax could transfer him to another worse position with no recognition. Yeah, I added a few, bragging how powerful he is!" Ariel glanced a bit to Artemis with his expressionless look.

"You gotta be kidding me!" replied Artemis excitedly. Ariel lightly grinned without saying anything to respond.

"I would never think of that way. You are a genius!" Artemis praised his best friend Ariel with his broad grinning.

"We are not over this problem yet. Now you should tell me what happen last night. How could you meet Miraya on the racing?" Ariel demanded the information from Artemis. It would help them to punctuate the problems. Artemis then took his deep sigh before telling the story.

"Huh, I met her at the racing bet. One of the braggarts challenged me on the ride. So, I took it and put the cherry on the top. It was only to sweetened the deal." Artemis began his story by telling Ariel a critical point that happened last night. Meanwhile, Ariel listened to the Artemis silently and kept on driving smoothly.

"So I took that chance, but I have no idea that it would be Miraya. I thought that she was that guy's girl, and the bet was just about to have some drinks at bars, nothing else!" Ariel scoffed at the story. He was thinking of some possible inducement to Artemis.

"Does anyone know who you are at the racing?" Artemis shocked his head.

"I don't think so because I was using the helmet all night, unless …."

"What?"

"Miraya told someone else about me. But that's impossible because she's with me!" Ariel scrunched his forehead glanced at Artemis.

"What are you talking about?"

"Miraya was the only one who saw me last night!" Artemis shouted a bit to answer the question. Ariel then nodded without glancing at Artemis at all.

"Did the cops see you?" Artemis then shook his head without answering. Ariel, who saw it, then nodded.

"Fine, now I have to get you home. You can't wander around for a few days at least. I have to make sure that none recognized you last night. When I'm sure about it, you have the permit the practice!" Ariel stern Artemis with his words. At the same time, Artemis was throwing both his hands into the air.

"I have a competition next week. So, I have to get to the practice soon!" Artemis whined about protesting Ariel's prohibition on him.

"Arte … do you remember what you just did last night?" Ariel curtly opposed him to the edge of guilty.

"But …"

"Instead of thinking about racing, why don't you think about how taming your Dad's wrath?" Artemis widened his eyes horrifyingly to Ariel. He almost couldn't breathe thinking about that.

"Can I just not go home?" Artemis begged with his pleading eyes. His eyes more giant and glistening to Ariel, but he didn't budge at all.

"Nope … we'll have to face the problem this time! And I won't let you run away again!"
