Can I?

"I can."

The confirmation from Gloria brightened their expression. Even though it might not be all cameras that still work, this would be more than enough to give them the picture of the situation in this area.

"How many can you access?"

"The entire block in this place is still good," Gloria replied. She swiped the cameras and showed the screen to Yakov who were standing beside her. "There are some black screen since it's no longer on."

Yakov studied the camera and nodded. "There's clear route to the construction site. You can begin to bring items from there."

"Got it." William took out his walkie talkie. "Yakov, you're going to guide me as I bring the materials."

"Wait, it's a few hundreds of meter distance. What do you plan to use?"

"Motorcycle."

Yakov was stunned when he heard William's answer. His face ashen. "The sound of the engine will make them know that you're roaming around!"

"There are motorcycles that's not too noisy. Also, it's your job to make sure that I can pass the street safely without anyone finding me out," William replied and readied his gun on his belt with a grin.

"You…"

"I'm relying on you, Yakov."

Yakov sighed and pointed to the laptop. "Let me borrow this for a moment."

"Feel free."

Both Yakov and William didn't bring their laptop with them when they were going to have their holiday. The only reason why Gloria had her laptop was simply because she was showing her final project to her teacher and the document was inside her laptop. There was no other method but to bring her laptop along so that she would be able to make suitable editing according to what her teacher wanted.

Sitting on the side, Gloria sighed and watched as Rozan also walked out. It seemed that he planned to head over to the garage to begin his remodeling of the camping bus.

"Gloria."

"Yes?" Gloria raised her head and looked straight at Sienna, who was standing before her. The other party's eyes were staring back at her with inquiry.

"How did you think of bringing laptop?"

"…I only carry laptop because it's necessary for class."

Sienna blinked her eyes, finally realizing that Gloria was a student. She took out her phone, which looked like a tablet around the size of 20 x 10 centimeters. "Can you charge this? I'll be able to explain better with this."

Gloria looked at the phone for a moment. "It's a small laptop."

"You know this?"

"I have seen one like this before from my professor in university," Gloria admitted. It was the type of phone that could be changed to become a mini laptop because the screen could be shifted. From what she knew, this model was quite expensive and only a limited number of people could possibly get it.

Sienna smiled bitterly. "You're correct."

"Do you also wish to contact your government?"

"That's…" Sienna flinched, feeling a bit uncomfortable. Even though Gloria was looking at her with her large eyes that looked pure, Sienna felt thoroughly conflicted. The young girl before her seemed to be very smart.

"And your fellow researcher."

"How do you know?"

"I'm guessing." Gloria looked at Yakov, who was still watching the screen with a walkie talkie in his hand. "Yakov, can I charge her phone so that she can contact her fellow researcher and government?"

Yakov was stunned then looked at Sienna for a moment. Afterwards, he turned his attention back to the screen since William was about to depart. "It's your decision."

Sienna bit her lower lip and looked at Gloria with expectation. When the electricity was cut, she clearly didn't have any hope to be able to use her phone anymore. However, she still carried it around with her in hope that she would be able to use it again in the future.

"Will you tell them about us?"

Huh?

Looking at the young girl's gaze, Sienna felt that for some reason, Gloria didn't want anyone to know about their group. Wouldn't they like it better if they could get out of this hellish place?

However, Sienna silently shook her head. "I'll only say that I'm still safe."

"Ok, I'll charge it."

"Thank you."

Taking the phone from Sienna, Gloria connected the charger and began to charge the phone. She brought several chargers inside her bag because it was necessary for her to use back in her university.

"Is there any method to know if you change?"

"Huh?"

"You told us before that Virus X and Virus E will create change in either physical body or mind, right? Is there any indication if it happens?" Gloria asked again.

Sienna was silent for a moment. In truth, the research never delved this deep back then. There was no clear indication if someone change or not. However, they still could conduct a test to find out whether the virus was inside one's body or not.

"I don't know what kind of chance it can bring because there are a lot of variety. However, there's a method to find out whether your body have the virus or have the immunity instead," Sienna said slowly.

"How?"

"I need some items that's not here…"

"Oh."

Sienna smiled bitterly. "If we passed by the pharmacy later, I might be able to find the necessary items to conduct the test."

Gloria nodded, but she didn't say anything more and sat down on the sofa. Her dark eyes were looking at Yakov as he began to give his direction to William.
