Phoebe carefully dressed in her riding gear; she could not risk waking her parents up from their slumber. As she walked to the stables, Phoebe turned to the now miserable chateau. Her dearest friend Ella- or as her stepsister's called her, Cinderella -lived there, she wished that Ella would be free from the clutches of the vile woman.
Phoebe continued to way to her favorite horse, Lavender. She pulled herself over the horse and carefully rode Lavender to Ella's tower. As Phoebe stood under Ella's tower, she could hear singing, "...A dream that you wish, will come true..." The castle's bells started to ring, she could hear annoyed mutters from the window high above. "Ella!" Phoebe whisper-screamed, Ella's face was now visible from the window, it appeared she had just awoken.
"I'll meet with you later!" Ella called out, her blonde hair flying in the gentle breeze. Phoebe nodded and rode back to her own chateau, silently praying that Tremaine had not seen nor heard her. As the girl arrived at her own chateau- Lavender had trotted back to the stables -she quickly undressed from her riding gear and changed into her dress. The dress was semi-long, it had gorgeous long sleeves with a golden trimming, it went wonderful with the midnight fabric.
Phoebe stood in front of her mirror, making sure that her hair had not looked too windblown or that her face was covered in dirt. Phoebe looked in the mirror and let out a giggle, she had not realized how much she looked like Ella. Yes, whenever they used to come over Ella's father used to claim that they must be long-lost twins, Phoebe had forgotten how much alike they looked though.
Phoebe tried to tame her wild hair as she kept looking in the mirror, she had Ella's blonde hair- yet Phoebe's was more wavy -although she did not have Ella's blue eyes, she had vibrant green eyes. Oh, and we are both of the same age, Phoebe thought to herself as she combed her hair, Phoebe would have to see Ella later, she didn't like seeing the girl be something she wasn't.
Phoebe exited the chateau, leaving her parents to make breakfast- which is what set them apart from the others -she could hear a voice singing, yet when she knocked the voice went silent. The grand doors opened and there was Ella, she had dust smeared on some parts of her face and was holding a rag. "I came to check on you, it seemed I've come a tad bit too late." Phoebe murmured, trying to hide her disappointment of not helping Ella.
"Oh, it's all well, will you come in?" Ella opened the door a bit wider for Phoebe to enter, "Oh, Lucifer!" Ella exclaimed, looking at the fat cat. Phoebe never really had a reason to dislike Lucifer, she had given him food once and all was well between them, yet he seemed to hate Ella. "You mean old thing!" Ella dropped the rag she was carrying she grabbed a broom, "I'm just going to have to teach you a lesson." The door started to knock.
Whom could it be?
