A Forbidden Place

Izekiel was behind her, his grip was firm but there was a slight tenderness as he called her name.

"Nesrin."

She froze, a heavy moment passed and pretended not to hear it.

"Ezra...?"

There was a silence that lasted shortly. He left her hand and replied.

"We should not delay."

Nesrin slowly nodded. She didn't dare to relax until his footsteps receeded and the door was closed.

She curled her fingers against her heart. It was beating so loud she could even hear the erratic beats inside of her.

Izekiel fisted his hands across the door. His eyes were dark, and in the depths of that darkness resided an emotion he could not understand.

It had been a long time since those voices returned, and he let himself drown in their sinful cries. Izekiel had become one is with them a long tim ago.

But all of sudden they stopped that night. He couldn't hold himself back when even the slight possibility of that girl being Nesrin arose.
