A Corrupted Soul

Cassandra gazed at Nesrin darkly, her eyes were filled with an inexplicable hostility and a coldness that was enough to place anyone on their nerves. She gestured at her knight to lower his sword.

Her words made Nesrin at unease but when she noticed the noticeable blood on Jeremiah's hands, she cared less about what the oracle had to say.

"Let me," she worried took Jeremiah's hand, and wrapped her handkerchief around his palm.

Cassandra stated with her folded hands, "You have some explaining to do."

"And you, My Lady, have some manners to learn," Nesrin calmly replied as she tied the knot.

"How insolent," Cassandra whispered.

Josiah looked at Nesrin with a pure look of disbelief, on the other side Jeremiah made no effort to hold back his amused laughter.

"Let's get the medicines first," Nesrin said with a frown.
