Essence of Light

Her eyes opened to a cold whispering breeze, Nesrin could see the faint indigo sky through the curtains, the distant chirps of morning birds as she slowly got up on her feet.

It seemed like she had passed out on the floor.

There was a light and relaxed feeling in her heart as if she had only woken up from a dream and all those bizarre and strange events were a result of her subconscious mind.

They felt far too unreal, detached from her sense of reality.

Nesrin let out a heavy sigh.

As she tried to think more, it only caused an ache to creep over her head.

However, within those muddled feelings, there was also a sense of clarity because she remembered that 'dream' as clear as a crystal.

"You have some interesting preferences," a familiar voice remarked, "Did they make Her Highness sleep on the floor?"

Azenora raised a brow as she locked the door of her room.
