An Awakened Soul

Her words were firm, but when she glanced at her, her throat became heavy. It was as if those cold dark eyes were savoring the very fear she had tried to hide. His cold nonchalance resonated inside her as a corner of lips slightly titled up.

"Sure you will."

Izekiel traced the side of her face before he lifted her chin up, and tilted his head. That wicked grin of his widened.

"Then why are you so hesitant? Do it now, I wonder what's stopping you."

He knew she couldn't do anything, not when they were pressed so close, and his hands were still holding her in such a painful way as if he was never going to let go.
