Ginny was a child full of wonder and curiosity. That was what the old man told me when he introduced her to the family.
I thought she was just going to be another of the kids from the neighbourhood that came to visit them out of curiosity.
But she stayed. Even after seeing how I looked with my chest wide open and wires connected to the inside of my body.
She stayed and stared at me. But I didn't hate it. The way she looked at me was not one of pity just pure curiosity. She would come every day and tell me everything about the outside world I could not see.
Kept in a confined space, I hardly knew anything and Araya is always too tired to be able to talk to me by the time she is by my side.
So I was stuck in emptiness. Maybe because I knew nothing about ... anything, she was like a breath of fresh air to me.
Literally, I could smell the sun on her, I could smell spring, fall, winter and summer every time she came to me.
