Chapter 11

Suddenly all the soldier's communication tools began to ring in an alarming tone.

Gin and the other soldier's expressions suddenly became very serious.

"Hello!" said Gin, as he held an earphone connected to the communication tool on his belt, placing it in his ear.

"Get out now, we're currently in a pinch here," the person speaking from the other side of the tool said, sounding like the voice of the woman who was with Erina.

"Explain the situation," said Gin

"it's here..." the woman said, making Gin's face look more serious, "it's faster than we thought, we can definitely see it wreaking havoc from a distance,"

"Then what are we going to do!?" said Gin.

"Didn't you hear me? get out!" said the woman.

Gin was hesitant and did not say a reply.

"Don't worry, we're just currently facing some trouble right now, so we won't be able to be there quickly, let's meet at the extraction point!"

"You better not take long!" Gin said after a bit of hesitation.

"Don't worry this isn't enough to put me and this girl down, we'll follow right after you, we're taking another route,".

After that, their conversation ended.

"EVERYONE GET READY! TIME TO MOVE! We're moving out!"

murmurs from the crowd slowly began.

"What? where's miss Erina?" "we're moving without her?" "don't worry these soldiers got to be strong, right?" "ugh, it would have felt more safer with an S class with us,"

Yuji walked up close to Gin and asked, "what's going on?"

"The Archdemon is faster than we thought, right now it's already wreaking havoc near this place," said Gin.

"What about Erina?" Yuji asked.

"They're fine, Liz knows the extraction point, she'll lead them there on a different route," Gin replied.

"Is Liz, the woman with Erina?" said Yuji.

"Yeah, she's pretty strong and smart, so you shouldn't worry about the best," said Gin, "plus your girl is quite a monster herself so you shouldn't worry too much,"

"So, what should we do now?"

"Open the barricade on the left, the exit should be there!" said Gin.

The three soldiers in the room began to slowly remove the barricade, trying to not make any noise beyond the door.

As they slowly opened the door, they began to hear growls from the other side.

One of the soldiers peeked and saw numerous Akumas walking around the halls.

The soldier slowly closed the door as drips of sweat fall down from his helmet.

"We... got a problem," said the soldier.

The soldier told them about what he saw.

"WHAT!" Gin shouted, "Crap why now..."

"Wait if they're just outside, how come they aren't trying to go in here by force? don't they hear the noise everyone is making here since earlier?" Ryan asked.

"It's because this cafeteria is fully soundproof," said Gin

"it's true," said Layla, "the school made the whole cafeteria soundproof since it's really noisy here when lunch or recess takes place, and it disturbs the teachers who are working overtime,".

"So that's why they aren't attacking," said Yuji.

As the other people heard the news some began to panic, and everyone was uneasy.

In that situation, Yuji was looking around and was already assessing the situation.

Gin was in a bit of a pinch and was trying to think of a way to get through the situation as he looks around.

"What the?" Gin said as he witnessed an interesting sight, seeing Ryan, Jaspher, Layla, and Elizabeth were all staring at Yuji.

"Don't tell me this is how you all survived this situation..." Gin said in a low voice, as he approached them.

"Mr. Gin, great timing," said Yuji, raising his head from thinking.

Gin lifted his eyebrow, curious about what he meant.

"Is the situation a bit of a pinch right now? for everyone," Yuji asked.

"Yeah it is," said Gin.

"Do you have a plan?" Yuji asked.

"I'm trying to think of one right now," Gin replied, "do you happen to have one yourself?"

Yuji was silent for a moment.

"Is the door to the exit filled with Akumas too?" Yuji asked the soldier.

"Yes, the exit is really near here, and from what I saw, the halls were full of those things," said the soldier.

Yuji took a look around and saw a window covered by a curtain.

Yuji walked towards the curtain, blocked by a few people.

"umm, can I see that window?" said Yuji.

"Huh?" the random student said.

"That window leads to the front of this school, right?" Yuji asked.

"It is, but the outside right now is crawling with those things," said the random person.

"mind if I look?" said Yuji.

"didn't I just say the situation? or are you deaf?" said the random person in an aggressive manner, "do you want to cause trouble for us all!?"

"what's wrong with him taking a peek?" said Gin as he walked towards Yuji, "you guys have been peeking since earlier right? I don't see what's wrong,"

The people moved looking pissed and irritated, "tsk, if that weakling does anything stupid..."

Not minding the student, Yuji took a small peek at the window and analyzed it carefully.

"there's definitely a number of them...but," Yuji said.

"What is it?" Gin asked.

"Mr. Gin, what's your ability?" Yuji asked.

"I can manipulate flames,"

"Woah what class are you Mr.?" a random person asked.

"...A..." Gin said with almost no effort as if he was irritated to answer.

"So, what good does knowing my ability do for you? Gin said.

Yuji was thinking hard.

"Wait, when I think about it, since the vice-captain is an A-class, why don't we just open the door and exterminate the Akumas?" said by a random person in the room.

Yuji looked at Gin and said, "that's a bad idea isn't it?"

"Yep, if I count all of you, that's pretty bad," said Gin

"If you count all of us that means..." A random person said, "THEN THAT WEAKLING IS HOLDING US ALL BACK RIGHT!?" the random person shouted.

"What are you saying? weakling?" Gin said in an irritated voice, as he looked at Yuji.

"it's because I don't have a class, and my ability is pretty useless," said Yuji, with little to no hesitation.

"Well, I didn't even know that," said Gin, looking at the person who shouted, "So what made you think you can shout something like that? huh?" Gin said in a very irritated voice.

"well, you said if you consider all of us here, opening the door would be a bad idea... that's why I thought..." the random person said in a nervous tone.

"IDIOT!" Gin shouted, "ALL OF YOU HERE ARE HOLDING ME BACK!" "If it was only me and the soldiers this won't be any trouble!"

The random person suddenly went quiet.

"I'm glad to hear that," Yuji said, as he displayed a suspicious smile on his face.

"Huh?" Gin reacted, being confused.

"Then, going out there, with only two or three people with you, should be enough to kill all of those right?"

"Only me is enough," said Gin, "but I'll attract attention for more Akumas right after, since there's no way to kill that many quickly without making any noise,".

"Is Erina and the others going to be heading this way too? or anywhere near?" Yuji asked.

"No, they're on a completely different route, though we'll go through the same route eventually, we have the same extraction after all," Gin replied.

"Then I propose a plan," Said Yuji.

"Let's hear it," said Gin.

As they were about to start their discussion, they heard some murmurs from the corner.

"ugh, is he really going to listen to that weakling?"

Hearing the statement, Gin looked around, "I don't recall abilities affecting people's intelligence!" said Gin "In fact, you all must be stupid, to not realize that," Gin said in a cocky tone.

once again silence filled the room.

Yuji was surprised at how Gin reacted.

"you know, you can just ignore them," said Yuji, "but thanks,".

"Idiots need to know how stupid they are before they die because of it," said Gin, as if it was his motto.

Yuji chuckles a bit and took a deep breath.

"Ok here's the plan,".
