"YOU IDIOT!" the woman shouted, as she got close to Gin, suddenly hitting him in the head.
"AW!" Gin grunted.
"did you know how much effort it was to get here without attracting too much attention? Especially a horde!?" said the woman.
"Liz!?" Gin said in surprise.
"And what's up with your clothes!?" Liz added, " you look like you got messed up by some women on the street again,".
"Shut up! anyways where is..." as they were talking Erina suddenly appeared beside them, as electricity fades from her back.
"Umm, sorry to interrupt, but we need to keep going or the horde will catch up with the others," Erian said.
"WOAH!" Gin reacted in shock.
"Or should we hide and let the horde pass us instead?"
"Since when was this girl here!?" Gin thought, being completely surprised.
"Nice to see you again sir..." Erina nodded, looking at Gin.
"You got stronger all on your own again, didn't you?" said Gin, as Erina smiled in reply.
"Anyways," said Liz, "we don't need to hide, we got this guy now, so we should be fine," she said, knocking on Gin's chest "you can do it, right?"
Gin let out a sigh "all right..." he said as he picked up his lighter.
"He can go again!?" one of the soldiers said.
"That's Vice-captain for you..." the other soldier replied.
"How much am I shooting?" Gin asked as he enlarged the ball of fire.
Erina was stunned as she looked at the large ball of flame emerging from Gin's hand.
"That should be enough," Liz said, putting a stop to the enlarging, "you don't need to wipe them out, it's probably impossible, we just need to lose the front line and lose the rest of the horde on this corner,".
"If the Akumas did not see anyone turn on this corner, they would likely be going straight," said Erina.
"I see..." said Gin, "so, are you two the only ones here?"
"No, the others will be turning that corner soon," said Erina.
"Speaking of the devil, there they are," said Liz.
They looked at the far corner and saw six students running towards them at a very high speed.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?" one of the students said, in complete shock at seeing the large ball of fire in front of them.
"it's ok!" Erina shouted as she waves at them with her right hand.
"It's Miss. Erina!" said one of the students, "alright, go faster!"
Gin had a confused expression, as he sees the number of students, "only six?" said Gin.
"That's all the students in that facility," said Liz, "that's not the only ones though, where are they?"
After a few seconds, two female teachers came running behind the students, one of them was the teacher facilitating Yuji's group, who was left behind, she had short brown hair and was wearing a sleeveless shirt.
"We got a little delayed clearing their front," said the woman in uniform, beside the brown-haired teacher.
She had long black hair and was wearing glasses, with a complete teacher uniform.
"What the heck?" the two teachers said, as they saw the large ball of flame.
In a few seconds, everyone arrived at Gin's position.
"Alright, those things should be coming now," said Liz, "go forward now, we'll catch up,".
Everyone nodded. Turning left, everyone continued to run on the road, leading to the center.
As Gin and Liz stood still, loud noises filled the air. Despite the distance of the corner, the noise was still loud enough to recognize, as the growls and footsteps of numerous Akumas grew closer.
After a short moment, a vast number of Akumas came running viciously out the corner, slipping as they turn and running towards the wall of a building, as the whole direction of the horde made its way towards them.
"Do it now! and quickly run to the end of that other corner so they won't see us and won't follow!" said Liz.
"Got it!" Gin said as he threw the large ball of flame at the Akumas. The ball of flame reached the distant Akumas and created a massive explosion, killing all the Akumas in the front, while the shockwave from the explosion pushes the Akumas at the back, as smoke filled the area.
After that, Gin and Liz ran as fast as they could to the corner of the road that leads to the center.
"Your people already made it towards the other side," said Gin.
The noise of growling Akumas suddenly emerged from the place where the explosion took place, behind Gin and Liz.
"Crap, I don't think we'll reach that corner in time!" said Liz.
"If the Akumas sees us turn on that corner they'll just follow right?" said Gin, "this is bad...".
The noise became louder and louder, as the Akumas came closer.
As they run, both of them noticed a door to a cafe at the side of the road. They both quickly ran towards the cafe and opened the door, as they rush inside.
They left the door open to get a better hearing outside, as they crouched beside the door quietly listening to the noise.
The noise grew louder and louder, and after a few seconds, the sound slowly started to fade away.
"They went straight..." Gin said, as Gin and Liz stepped outside, they let out a big sigh of relief.
"Alright, let's catch up to the others," said Liz.
And so, they continued to run.
