At an open area near the cabin, Chi stood still at the sight with an expression of unexplainable confusion and shock, as Yukina and Yuji stood still, sweating buckets as they try to hide their emotions with a smile.
"W... WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?"
"Aaaaaah! I didn't think it'd be this much!" Yuji screamed in his head.
"I didn't expect this... This is bad, this is bad, this is bad, this is bad," Yukina thought, "it was a bit dark last night to see from a long distance so I wasn't expecting something like this…"
"LOOK AT THAT!" Chi pointed at the mountain of rock by the distance, "from the looks of things, you shot... SOMETHING!? From here, and you manage to damage that mountain over there!"
Yuji stayed silent with a nervous expression.
"Say something!? Am I wrong!?"
"Well... No, but I wasn't able to move after, hehe,"
"Hm? Oh! So, it was a trump card or something right?"
"Y...yes,"
With a sigh of relief, Chi relived her expression, "I see, so a trump card huh? I remember when I first made my trump card move... It was right here when..."
With a sudden realization, she paused.
"Oh no..."
"WHAT THE HECK! You ruined my first memory for this place!"
"I'm sorry!"
"Not only that... You've caused way more damage than me too... Completely ruining the lasting damage my first trump move did," Chi said sounding as if she was about to cry.
"D...don't worry Chi!" Yukina stepped forward beside Chi, "the move is not just about strength remember? I can't even do anything with this place,"
With shut eyes, trying to hold back tears, Chi raised her head, "y...your right, thanks Yukina,"
Chi raised her head with a cheerful expression, "that's right! It's all about technique! Not just brute Force and damage so I still!" Not finishing her sentence, she went back to being depressed.
"WHY!?"
"It's useless..."
"What?"
"It's useless! No matter how I look at it, just seeing this damage crushes my confidence!"
"Why!?"
"For some reason... I absolutely don't want to lose to that guy!" Chi glared at Yuji.
Gulp*
Yuji stayed silent.
"Just what have you turned into?" Chi said.
Hearing those words, Yuji suddenly turned serious, hiding his nervousness with care.
Chi took notice of the sudden change and began to look suspicious.
Chi walked over in front of Yuji, "your face is too honest," she flicked her finger on his forehead.
"Aw!"
"If you're going to hide something, you need to do a better job... From the looks of it, you have an idea what you're doing after all,"
Yuji and Yukina stayed silent, as sweat drops down their faces.
"Good!" Chi said cheerfully, breaking the mood, "I didn't hear any confessions so I don't have any base, I'll keep quiet,"
With a relieved expression Yukina walked over to Chi, "thank you,"
Chi smiled then hugged Yukina tightly, "you know I'd do anything for you my Yukina!"
"Ah! Chi!? What do you mean you're... Ah!"
Yuji averted his gaze from the embarrassing sight in front of him, yet he kept looking back.
"Come on, let's get out of here now," Chi said, "this is place is breaking me..."
"... Hang in there..."
After further inspection, all of them headed back to the cabin.
Entering the cabin, Chi began stretching her arms, "what now?"
"What do you mean?" Yuji replied.
"There's still a long time before lunch... Do you play video games?"
"Y...yeah,"
"Then let's go back to my room,"
"!!"
"Don't worry, no alcohol this time... Probably,"
Yukina stepped beside Chi, "so you're staying longer?"
"Are you disappointed?"
"Nope, I'm glad,"
"I'll be seeing you off, so I'm staying till you go,"
They both smiled as they went up the stairs.
Yukina let out a sigh of relief, "this is all good and all… but it's still quite a shock for me, Yuji's trump card was more powerful than Chi's? knowing Chi, it's quite hard to believe, on contrary… now that I think about it… I think there's a lot more that I don't know about Yuji." She thought.
Chi opened the door to her room as she emits a joyful mood, "now then, let's enjoy ourselves for now!"
Yukina smiled, "there's no point thinking about it for now… all I know is that he is someone who I feel like I can trust, whatever it is he might be hiding, I hope he tells it to me someday.
Time had passed, as they had fun playing games, eating, and talking to each other, enjoying every last second of their peace together.
After some time, all of them were lying on the same bed, doing nothing but being comfortable.
Yukina looked at the clock, "it's almost five..."
Chi sat up from the bed, "So it is... I remember your service will arrive here at six, are you both prepared?"
"I've been prepared since last night,"
"So am I..."
"I see..." Chi laid back down, "so we're just gonna lie down here now,"
Yukina yawned, "I... Can't think of what else to do,"
Yuji giggled, "we pretty much done a lot this whole day... It was really fun,"
"Yeah," Chi stretches her arms as she let out a yawn, "I really need moments like this from time to time,"
"Same here," Yukina said.
"I've had moments like this often before... So this kind of makes me feel nostalgic, also this is my first time doing things like these with someone besides Erina,"
"Erina!?" Chi sat up with excitement, looking straight at Yuji, "what's this, a love affair!?"
"No! She was the only friend I had back in City D,"
"Oh... Sorry," Chi sat back, looking guilty, "my condolences," she bowed.
"Why are you assuming she's dead!?" Yuji sat straight up, "for your information she's alive,"
"Oh, she is? Good thing then," Chi let out a sigh of relief, "but you can't blame me though, knowing what happened back there after all,"
"Your right... Sorry,"
"Don't apologize, it was my fault for not asking first,"
"Well, Chi doesn't know who she is so it's understandable to assume that," Yukina said.
"Who is this Erina? Yukina knows her too, is she a big deal or something?"
"I only know her by name, and only met her once," Yukina sat back up, "she's an outstanding S class, and is really known throughout their school in City D,"
"What!? You're saying that this guy's only friend was some big deal S class!?" Chi looked straight at Yuji, "didn't you say you were a no-class nobody?"
"I don't think that's how I phrased it... But yes,"
"I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it but... It's rather..."
"Weird isn't it?" Yuji giggled.
"I don't want to say weird... More like... Rare? Or unique? I mean people these days... Especially teens,"
"I get you, even I noticed it,"
"Sounds like someone who's right up somebody's alley," Chi said, looking at Yukina.
"Well yeah," Yukina smiled, "I just read her profile and heard about her from some people and I was already interested... You're introducing me to her when we get there right?" She said, looking at Yuji.
"Of course!" Yuji smiled.
"Hmmm, how nice, seems like you two already have plans when you get there,"
"I have a lot," Yuji said.
"Well of course you do, all of them probably assumed you were already dead by now, you're going to really shock them,"
"Yeah..."
"Oops! I've been saying "them" this whole time, but I forgot you only have one friend who's at City A!" Chi teased.
"ugh, I don't care about the number!"
"Haha!"
"Stop that you two," Yukina stood up from the bed, "let's get ready,"
"Hm? But I thought you two were already prepared?"
"We made a mess in this house, how about we clean up?
"Eh? You don't need to do that, I can just..."
"We're doing this!" Yukina interrupted, "we're just lazing around doing nothing anyway, let's clean up together," she said picking up the boxes of pizza from the floor.
Yuji stood up from the bed, "I'll help pick up,"
Chi let out a sigh, "you two... I'll be getting the broom then,"
