Where are you?

Dawn. This time it truly was.

As Kalliope lied awake on her bed with pale face and dark ring under her eyes, she watched as the light gradually arose and seeped right through the window. From a small thin line to a warm beam of sunlight swallowing the whole bedroom. Yet, she remained unmoved, looking over with a pair of emotionless eyes and empty mind upon the changing sky.

The curtains weren't even drawn last night. The windows were left open, giving access for anyone to see and also to be seen. Yet, it didn't matter to Kalliope because the thought of closing her eyes, alone, within the darkness terrified her more than a peeping tom or even an assassin.

After what had happened, Kalliope wanted to be able to sense everything clearly from a faint shadow to the movement of the wind.
