The palm-sized kitten trailed its pair of beautiful eyes across the unfamiliar bedroom, studying every corner and every inch of it in a steady manner. There was not a hint of curiosity or bedazzled emotion underlying its eyes as if the foreign environment was not able to faze its young body even a little bit. It merely looked around to understand where it was before stretching its tiny body flexibly as it let out a small yawn.

Thereafter, the kitten raised its paw and licked itself. However, just after its adorable pink tongue brushed against the luxurious black coat for the second time, the black kitten froze. Something seemed to flash through its mind.

It blinked once, twice, before emotion flowed through its gaze for the first time. The black kitten looked at its paw and the black soft pads underneath it with absolute disdain in its eyes.
