Choices

Choices we made two years ago can come back and hunt us; what a sick joke. You know I never once believed in karma, but now I do, crazy right?

Question for you, If you had to choose between the death of the people you call family versus a pregnant woman who you know is innocent, will you do it?

In my line of job, no one is innocent, Trained cold-blooded alcoholics killers; we are the son of a b***ch the demon raised, everywhere we go, chaos follows just one step behind.

It remained evergreen in my memories; it like a movie playing back over and over, Like a nightmare you can't wake up from. Killing bad people makes me feel good, but at that moment, I realized who we are to determine those that evil and that that is godly.

A woman so petite, she had a kid holding on to one of her hand, the older kid, no toddler, no an unborn child lying in her womb, her eyes were bloody red, water dripping down her brown skin, the hijab on her head came off as she tries to cover one of the men that had been a casualty, a casualty of our so-called war, A casualty because he chooses the losing side.

I am no hero; I'm just a warrior fighting for the rich to get richer as they portray me as a saint fighting for the liberty of every human. Ban....g one-shot is all it took to rip two souls from their bodies. The woman smiled as if saying thank you as she falls to the ground.

F**k! F**K she wanted revenge for the man on the ground, which is most like her husband. After she mourned, she didn't hesitate to pick up the RPG next to him in an attempt to blow us to pieces. "I shot I made my choice."

The little kid holding her hand also picked up the RPG after the fall of his mother, but this time, it wasn't just me; every marine on that post shot at the kid, with a body full of holes he fell against the wind.

That was the day we all lose our sanity, lost the human in us. War isn't just about bleeding and dying; it empty one soul. I can't look into the eyes of my wife when she was pregnant; I couldn't look into the eyes of my own son. She couldn't stand it, she yes wife, after all, she left without looking back, took my son away too, but I didn't care, the further away they are, the better.

I am not only getting hunted by enemies, and I am getting hunted by my friends. This is the price I have pay for choices I made two years back.
