The Secret

For the first time in so many years, Cain heard a voice! Wobby and his company didn't talk to him even once in who knows how many years. Before him was a beautiful, red-haired young woman. She wore a shirt and something vaguely similar to military pants. Though she looked gorgeous even in them, Cain did not appreciate her good looks. His newly acquired battle sense screamed that this woman is dangerous as hell.

-Hey, do you even understand the human speech, my dear brother? After all, since you came here while being three years old, no one even talked to you.

With a gentle smile of an angel, Relia looked at Cain. He didn't answer. In front of him was a monster in a woman's skin he didn't want to see ever again. With each of her steps toward him, Cain moved one step backward. When she was near the bars, her soft hand lightly touched the bar and... plucked it. After repeating the procedure with another bar, Relia entered inside.

As the pressure on him increased, Cain knew he couldn't be silent anymore. So, he decided to open his mouth.

-I don't remind having a bitch as a sister.

Relia stopped, her eyes looked at Cain like he was an exotic animal.

-You. Talk?

-Quit staring at me like I am your dog lover. It disgusts me.

Why did Cain talk like this? Because he knew, that the one coming with bad intentions will have them regardless of the situation. Clearly, this woman didn't come with goodwill. As these are possibly the last moments of Cain's life, he decided to bark before losing his teeth.

Relia stared at him trying to withhold her laughter. She couldn't.

-Hahaha... couldn't you choose something less childish at least. This "I don't remind having a bitch as a sister" as your greeting is gold! I can't breathe... Pfff...

Cain didn't laugh with her. He didn't even feel embarrassed. So, they really spoke one language. First, It was not any of the Earth languages he knew. Second, His assumption was correct, Cain's word pick was childish. He transmigrated in a child body, which was three to five years old at that time. Cain didn't even know if he said what he meant, as the meaning behind words didn't fully map with Cain's spoken language! Finally, The reason he didn't remember anything about the original owner of this body is likely because the owner is a child. Also, there is a chance that the kid had some kind of psychological trauma. However, Cain still could remember a lot of words from the kid. This fact at least was partly confirmed by the reaction of the red-haired woman. He did receive the set of memories from the kid. The ones this kid himself remembered.

-So... As I laughed enough, it is time for us to become intimate.

Having said that, Relia disappeared from Cain's view. The next moment, her hand was on his throat, tightly blocking the airflow.

-Let's count, as your sister I have to know your physical abilities! Show me your best, my dear brother. One... Two... Three...

After counting to two minutes, Cain began to lose consciousness. Was there something he could do? Nothing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After waking up, Cain found that he couldn't move. He was fixed in one place.

-So, one hour before waking up. You are not half bad, my dear brother!

Looking around, Cain found that he was not in the cave. Ironically, Cain wished he were.

-Is it... a torture room?

Trying really hard, Cain finally remembered the necessary words to ask a question. However, he didn't know if he had to laugh or cry at this child's memories. Where did this little one hear about the word "torture"?

-Not quite, most of what you see here I had to bring with me. This place didn't have the necessary tools.

-What do you want from me?

-Already docile? Nothing. As a caveman, you don't have anything I can get from you. Do you?

As Cain had trouble understanding some words, he at least comprehended the overall situation.

The red-haired monster is assumed to be his sister. How much of that is true... no, even if true, nothing changes. Be it family or anything else, they are enemies.

The red-haired monster is despairingly strong. Resistance is futile.

Last, the red-haired monster is not allowed to kill him. How does he know it? Cain is not sure if he is right, however, it is not logical to dispose of someone who was left alive for so many years. So, keeping this in mind, Cain asked the next question.

-Why don't you kill me?

-Hoh, seeking the answers from me. You are really too intelligent for a caveman with little to no experience in communication. It is like... I am talking with a fully-grown adult.

Relia turned around and looked at Cain. She didn't see any reaction but was not disappointed as it was just a joke. She found him suspiciously smart for a caveman, however, Relia didn't feel any need to do anything about it. In her hands rested the average-sized hammer. Only Axius knew what she wanted to do with it.

-Although I am not obliged to answer, I will! Unlike these idiots at family, I won't keep secrets. Your story is an open secret anyway. Listen, once upon a time there lived a whore. The emperor took a fancy to her. Like a whore she was, not even a year after, she had a child from another man. It was found out easily. The truth is, this man is yours and my father. Did she think that our emperor is just a bag of money? He found it out without really trying. Our dear father is an influential figure, so he was not punished, however the whore was disposed of! You, as her child, technically should be too, but the emperor gave you to us. So, you are just a message and a reminder to us. To not screw with the emperor for another time. Are you satisfied by the tale?

Cain's eyes almost popped from his sockets. Is he a drama queen? It took quite an effort to understand the entire story. Maybe, just maybe he didn't have to ask this question.

-To a family, you are a dirty spot they can't get rid of. Killing you will be in a sense declaring war on the emperor, as he did not give us any order to do so. Without killing we will not be free from shame. The father is far too special, so he is an exception to any rule, he has the necessary strength to back himself. Nor family elders nor the emperor can restrain him. More so, the whole tale about you is most likely a part of his plot.

Relia raised her hammer with a serious expression on her face as if deciding the fate of the entire planet with her next action.

-It just happened so, I hate anything related to our dear father. Brother, I am known to be skillful at tortures. Enjoy the fun.

With that, her face became calm again. The hammer finally went down.
