Fading

Prince Sunrei felt chills crawl over his body. The man standing right next to Mercielle was definitely Celestial Knight Sunrei. His present vessel appeared a little better than the previous one he possessed. He could move faster and his attacks were stronger.

Mercielle remained standing near the slit in the air. She was holding her wooden staff with both hands, focusing intently on maintaining the spell she had cast.

Gani and Jodien stayed right next to Gale and Cari. They had already stated not to fight against any Celestial Knight.

"Gale, try to summon a wind vortex from time to time. Maybe it can find a way to break through the spell," Prince Sunrei whispered. "Gani, Jodien, keep Gale and Cari safe for as much as you can. I'll try to buy us some time until we break the spell or until help comes."

Gale, Gani, and Jodien nodded with anxiety.
