His little soul...

"The second, I'll get to know that he's a little but free from his work, I'll literally force him to fly over here. What's say?" Ethan spoke in his utmost gentle tone, trying to console her.

Kathrine nodded her head cutely and wiped off her tears from her face.

Ethan smiled at her antics and kissed her forehead lovingly before pulling her into a hug.

"Always remember, Kathy.. I don't like to see tears in your eyes. You should always be happy no matter what. Your smile is the one thing which gives me motivation to start a new day with positivity.

So never cry again. And keep smiling always." Ethan murmured in her hair, making her feel emotional all over again.

But this time, it was not out of any remorse or sadness but due to the immense happiness she was feeling inside her heart which felt nothing less than any heaven..

New York City…

There stood a big building with around fifty floors or more with an intricate design.

The building was giving a lavish aura with it's extraordinary architecture and interiors.

People could be seen working on their toes with their full attention. They seemed more like robots than any simple employees with their disciplined way of dressing, working and most importantly, no talking..

The atmosphere was giving a strict vibe from every side and corner of the big company. As if one mistake they would do, and the next moment, they would be kicked out from the office.

Although there seemed to be seriousness pooling around in every corner of the office, but the scene on the topmost floor could force anyone per in their pants out of nervousness..

A man in his late twenties, wearing a black tuxedo was standing near the floor to ceiling glass wall with no expression on his face.

Even though he was in his tux, still it couldn't hide his well maintained body behind those fabrics. His hair was perfectly set, giving him a more handsome look.

He was so much good looking with a perfect L shaped jaw and sharp nose along with piercing eyes that it would be impossible for anyone to not turn around twice to have a good look of this godly human being..

Starting from his clothes to his cabin to every other single thing, was just screaming for richness.

Just one look at his surrounding and it won't be difficult for anyone to figure out that he was nothing less than a billionaire who had been topping the world chart of business category for all those years..

Although he wasn't known to be the number one businessman of the world but he surely had secured the second position for himself from the past few years.

In spite of achieving all the success of the whole world, he wasn't completely happy with his life.

His heart was searching for his little soul who was not with him anymore!

Even after being the second most richest businessman of the whole world, he couldn't able to find his piece of heart at any cost.

Because, to find someone he needed some informations about the person. But here, neither he had any pictures nor any documents which could possibly help him to solve this lost puzzle of many years which he was dying to know till now.

For now, he could just rely on the only thing which he was having with him from many years which kept him connected with the person whom he loved the most in this whole world.

And it was none other than a…. PENDANT..! Precisely, a star pendant which was the only clue for him to get his loved one back in his life..

*sigh*

He was keenly looking at the pendant with lots of emotions in his eyes. As if he was trying to pour all the love he had for that particular person in the pendant itself but couldn't able to get success in it..

Tracing his hand over it, he was about to kiss the star when he heard a knock on the door.

Sighing a little, he kept the pendant in a small box and placed it securely in his locker before granting the person to enter inside.

"Come in.."

Getting the approval, the other person entered inside and informed him in a professional tone, "Sir.. Mr. Anderson is here to meet you."

"Hmm.. Send him over here.." His voice was clear and firm enough to give his personal assistant enough hint to not waste his time anymore and get out of there as soon as possible.

Nodding his head, his p.a. literally ran out of his cabin and informed Mr. Anderson about his employer's order.

Soon enough he heard the door of his cabin getting opened with a loud thud sound and the squeaky voice of the supposed to be Mr. Anderson rang into his ears, irritating him to no level..

"What's up bro?"
