She Never Did

"Maybe I should have listened to her." He said chuckling, his breath vapor.

Everyone was helping to chip the ice away, strangely. The princess had told him she wasn't in the mood but, he didn't listen.

For a moment I thought she was hitting on him. She got real close and pushed him up against the wall, their faces inches from each other, well what would have been their faces had the princess not been wearing a mask.

"Woah, how about we..." His smug smile went flat as the princess' hand touched his shoulder.

Icey breath could be seen coming from the corners of her mask as her skin became snow. Her hands slowly became white, creeping closer to him. And as they reached, cracking ice from her body sprouted pillars of ice that pinned him to the wall in his entirety. And even then she didn't let up, after the initial assault too quick to react to, the ice grew. It grew until only his head was left out.

"Look at it all you want." She said walking away.
