The time quickly passed as we sat there in silence, waiting for a signal from Rico. Then, as if on que, when we were at the peak of our anxiety, he spoke.
"We're here!" His voice rung with excitement.
"Finally..." Cassidy was more relieved than excited. "I can't wait to get off this metal coffin..." She was also annoyed.
The plane began to land, and despite the virtually turbulence free journey. The whole place shook. It was so violent in fact, that we all had to hold on to our seats as the craft violently rocked form side to side. It had stopped rather quickly, almost as quick as it had begun and soon the ramp began to lower. It wouldn't be a smooth process either. The sounds of snapping branches and shattering wood could be heard as the unstoppable thing lowered.
