Missing Pieces

I'd stand there for a few moments, recalling all that had happened, a ruin, a demon, hell. It didn't seem real, any of it, and it was already hard to believe I was no longer on earth. My disbelief would soon turn into anger as I lost all ways to cope. My core would respond to my emotions, the golden flames burning higher. I knew they meant nothing though and I didn't want to hurt the two that seemed so jolly, so I restrained myself. I'd then proceed to turn my anger into curiosity, it had been two years, a lot must have happened. The thought of all I had missed would spur on my curiosity and my journey back to the village. It wouldn't be as simple as I wanted it to be though, I had a four eyed Ikvish girl and a dryad with me. I had no doubt that they would have had questions, questions I was not sure I could answer.
