Chapter 1 - Introduction

There once was a beautiful house. It was white with a black pointy roof. It's a two story house and smoke came out of the chimney. The window curtains had a pastel pink color. There were vines on the walls in front of the house and there were bushes around the house with flowers. The door had one window on it that was shaped like a flower. The backyard wasn't that big. The backyard had lots of flowers on the sides and the flowers were all shapes, sizes, and colors.

There were other houses beside the beautiful house. The other houses weren't that pretty compared to the beautiful house. The beautiful house looked unique, maybe because of the vines and bushes.

"MAMA!" shouted a voice. The voice sounded like a girl's voice and was coming from the backyard.

There was a little girl and a woman playing with dolls, she is probably a 5 year old. The little girl had white skin that glowed in the light. The girl had big eyes and eyelashes that every woman dreams of. Her eye color is red with a yellow pupil. The girl was wearing a pastel red dress. The dress had pockets, white lace around the edges, a white flower pattern, and was at knee length. The dress was puffy and the sleeves were also puffy. The sleeves matched the dress with the white lace at the edge and the flower patterns. Her shoes were pastel red and her socks were small and white. Her hair was in a ponytail and was the color of red and when the light hit her hair, suddenly her hair looked like a combination of red and orange. Her hair is long and healthy. She had a big bowtie that held up her hair and was the color orange.

The woman next to the child was not that tall, probably 5 feet. The woman had a tan skin that glowed in the light. The woman had a plain shirt that was the color of grey and the sleeves were to her elbows. Her skit was the color of black and it reached to her knees and had white laces at the edges. The woman had high heel boots that were the color black with white buttons on the side. The woman's hair was red, long and healthy, and hair was down and wavy. The woman had peach blossom eyes that were the color black and she wore red lipstick.

The little girl had a princess doll. The doll has a tan skin color and had a long pink dress. The dress had white laces at the edges and on the sleeves. The doll's eyes were big and dark brown. The doll's hair was blond and long. The woman held another princess. This doll had curly black hair that was short. The doll has a brown skin color. The dress looked the same as the other princess but this dress was a beautiful baby blue color. It seems like the blue princess was taller than the pink princess.

The little girl was sitting down with her doll with her mother by her side."Mama when is papa coming home?" ask the little girl,"I want him to play with us!" The mother had a sad expression on her face. She looked like she was going to cry but she didn't."Sweety, papa is busy,"said the mother with a shaky voice,"Papa is still with the angels." "But mama!!" said the little girl with a whiny voice,"When is papa coming back then?" The little girl looked at her mothers eyes. She tilted her head and she looked confused. The mothers eyes softened and she hugged her daughter tightly. She didn't want her child to see her cry. The girl hugged her mother back with a happy smile. The girl was focused on hugging her mother and she had forgotten the question she asked.

The both of them went inside the house. The girl went running up the stairs holding the blue and pink princess.

"Be careful Elizabeth!" shouted the girl's mother."I will!"shouted Elizabeth.

The inside of the house was as beautiful as the outside. There were photos of the family on the wall. A table in the hallway with a flower pot. The flower inside was a purple flower. When looking at the flower it seems so bright and beautiful. The room on the left was the living room. There was a big T.V. and three sofas. The sofas were a grey color. The pillows were black. In the middle was a coffee table. The order the living room was in had the T.V on the left wall and the sofas facing the T.V. It's a small room and there were paintings of flowers and landscapes.

The room on the right was the same size as the room on the left. Instead it was the kitchen. The kitchen looks like an ordinary kitchen with a counter, stove, fridge, cabinets, and a table with chairs. The table was in the back and the kitchen was in the front where the window was. In both of the rooms there was a big light in the roof.

The door was at the end of the hallway between the two rooms and the staircase was in front of it.

On the second floor there are two rooms, one on the right and the left. The left room is Elizabeth's room and the right room is the mothers room. There was carpet leading to both rooms.

The mothers room was plain. It had a big window and the black and grey bed facing back at the window. A small pastel brown closet was next to the bed but not blocking the window. There was a small black carpet in the middle of the room and the bathroom was there. The bathroom wasn't that big. The shower was at the side and the red robe was hanging next to the shower. The toilet and sink were next to each other facing towards the window and the toilet paper was next to the toilet. Finally there was a huge carpet that was the color black in the middle of the bathroom. The wall had a stripe pattern that was the color of grey and dark grey.

Elizabeth's room was the same as her mothers room. Her room had a bathroom, bed that was facing back at the window, and a closet next to the bed but not blocking the window, just like her mothers room. But she had a more colorful room. Her bed was pink and the blanket was purple. The walls had pink polka dots and the wall color was white. Her toy chest was in front of her bed. She had her dolls house leaning on the wall that was facing the door. She had a small carpet that was the color purple. The bathroom was the same as the mothers bathroom but instead of stripe pattern it was polka dots!

Elizabeth was in her room playing with her blue and pink princesses and in front of her was a pastel green house. The blue princess was the sister of the pink princess."Sister, your dress is beautiful!" said the blue princess with a happy and calming voice,"Where did you get it?" "I got it from the dress shop down the street!" said the pink princess with a delightful voice,"We can go now and get you a blue dress." "That would be wonderful!" Elizabeth was having fun playing with her dolls and she had more fun voicing the dolls. She had a big smile on her face that showed her white teeth.

Downstairs her mother was cooking dinner. She suddenly stopped right outside because there were people that were coming out of their car and walking towards her house. Her mother panicked and rushed upstairs. She grabbed Elizabeth and went downstairs. Elizabeth was confused but she didn't have time to ask what was going on. The stove was still on and the food was burning.

Her mother opened a hidden door under the table with the flower. She then put Elizabeth inside carefully. Elizabeth was confused and she still had her blue and pink princesses in her hands.

"Eliza, don't open the door no matter what," said the mothers voice with a serious tone,"If you hear anything don't open the door until I say 'princess." Her mother looked scared and serious. She began to sweat a little and her eyes looked worried. Elizabeth nodded. Her mother then closed the hidden door.

Elizabeth could hear the door open and 2 voices that sounded like men and 1 female voice. She couldn't really hear anything but she could hear the odd voices and her mothers voice. It seemed like they were arguing. Out of curiosity she opened the door from the ground just a little and saw a man pointing a gun towards her mother. Then, a loud bang and another bang and another bang. Her mother fell to the floor backwards. Elizabeth's was in shock and terror and she froze. Her mother's head was facing towards Elizabeth. The look in her mothers eyes seemed emotionless and had tears. Elizabeth saw the blood that was coming out of her mother and the blood was spreading. Elizabeth looked at the other people but they were not there, they had left. She could hear a car engine starting then the car driving away fast. Elizabeth started to cry.

"Mama?...MAMA!" she shouted with a shaky voice. She quickly opened the door and crawled out of the hidden room while shouting 'mama, mama' loud. She was crying so much her face turned red. She ran towards her mother, dropping the blue and pink princesses on the ground. She hugged her mother and continued to cry."MAMA! MAMA!" she shouted loudly.

The neighbors had heard gunshots and the police were called. When they got there, they saw a little crying girl hugging a woman yelling 'mama, mama' and a puddle of blood. The blood was on the little girl's dress and hands and the puddle of blood was around the woman. The woman's eyes were emotionless and in shock.
