'Fuuuccck' The coffee stain on my white shirt looked worse than I expected. God, I could never get anywhere on time. The 1 BHK apartment really looked a lot claustrophobic than I expected it to look. The laundry clothes in the basket awaiting its time. My dresser was a mess, with lipsticks and eye makeup strewn all over the place. Yup. The perks of living alone. The mirror judged me one last time as the loose jeans and White T shirt were mentally judged and the hair was fixed in a high ponytail. Being 22 was certainly exhausting.
Even though going to college seemed excruciating at times, it was still worth it. MA in English assuredly helped me with my writing. But the classes and the professors appeared monotonous after a few sessions. I mean, I'm pretty restless. I guess that explains that inevitable boredom that makes its way into everything you once enjoyed. That's just who I was. So I didn't always give full attention but just enough to learn each day. My writing for sure improved since the last time. The bustling streets of Wolftown never failed to astound me. The public transport filled with sweating armpits and used chewing gums, its not the best place to be early in the morning. The gates to College closed exactly at 9:15 A.M and I couldn't afford to spend another day in the library reading Ripley's Believe it or not. Thankfully I got an empty seat to occupy before the horde of people attacked the rusty vehicle.

First two periods were uneventful as we just went through the chapters in the book. I swear to god, I finish all the stories in one sitting at home. But the teachers always stretched the story wide and long, up until it loses its quality. I didn't pay any attention after those periods. I was extremely preoccupied designing my character for a new story that I had come up with after I watched " The Shining" last night. That movie snuck up on me and it really did give me nightmares. No wonder the sore head persisted throughout the day.
Upon reaching home, I fell on my back onto the bed and dozed off. The momentary ringing and vibrating thighs awakened me and I outreached into my right jean pocket. There was 3 missed calls from Kiara. As I groggily texted her a sorry, the phone buzzed with another incoming call. I rolled my eyes and sat up steady. Answering the call, I was instantly greeted with loud metal guitar strums.
" That's for not picking up my calls" A piercing voice screamed from the other end, threatening to burst my eardrums. I didn't hold back.
" What THE FUCK KI!" The guitar strumming stopped at once and the voice, now much calmer replied.
" It's been 2 weeks since you last spoke to me" She quietly continued. " I thought you forgot me...you know..."
I sighed heavily, still recovering from the alarming sensation that aggravated the headache. Rubbing my eyes I replied. " That doesn't give you any excuse to turn me deaf!!! "
Kiara, hiding her concern quickly enquired. " Was it that loud?...I swear I kept the phone a bit far from me...I really didn't mean to upset you though..."
I could sense the nervousness in her voice. I shook my head and spoke; " Well, you sure give a fuck about me but definitely not my ears " I heard a chuckle from the other end as she exhaled. " I've missed you bitch. Fuck it feels so long"
" I know...Umm so do you want to come over...?" I waited for the answer patiently as the girl at the other end collected her thoughts. After the long awkward pause, I was greeted with a 'Fuck yeah' followed by a hasty disconnection.
