The Shield

"Jenny, Did you see Jim?" Kevin asked, holding a shield.

"I think he might be in cafeteria", she said without looking back at him.

"Okay", his tone was low. He wanted some good talk but she created a scene which avoided the little talk about the shield.

When he was leaving, she said without turning back "Kim, congrats! for the shield." It intimates she purposely wished him for to avoid the shield's talk in future also.

"Thank You!", he said with that same low voice.

The cafeteria was half- empty only few were there. Jim was sitting one of the corner and having his food.

"Hey man, you are going to have chitchat with the best employee of the month." Kevin exclaimed and sat opposite to him.

"If you say another word about your shield I will stick your mouth." jim said with amusement.

"You are jealous on me. Aren't you?" Kim asked with laughing.

"Oh! God, Why?.. Why?... Why did you let him to won that stupid award? I can't tolerate him." jim screamed by looking up.

"Hahaa.. Don't worry man, next time he will let you to win." his laughter didn't reduce.

"Where is Sara?" jim changed the topic.
