Chapter 2: Consequences

"Percy! Time to get up, we're going to the park today." I heard someone yell, recognizing it was mom.

"Okay Mom!" I yelled, still sleepy, Yep, this is real, Took a while to adjust as a baby. Seriously, do you have any idea how embarrassing it is to be eating one second, just to shit yourself, it's horrible!

Anyway, it's been a little over 4 years since my reincarnation in this world, since day one I've been thinking of plans and things I should do to make sure the world still spins and I live.

First and foremost is my supposed powers I inherited from dad, In the books I could make earthquakes, storms and control water. But in House of Hades he learned I could control other liquids such as poison and blood.

Since I'm a demigod I'm sure that unlike a god, my body and power have limits and to live I'm going to stretch them to the very limit, which would require a shit ton of training and learning on my part and I don't think that self-taught is the way to go, at least not when I'm older.

Second is the background this world has, Rick made two more series that tie around this one and they revolve around Egyptians and Norse Gods. Which In the book don't appear until after the Titan war. Now, when I 'died' Rick only just started on trails of Apollo so I don't know if he included anymore religions such as Shinto or Hindu.

If these other religions exist then I should either completely avoid them to avoid more problems, or meet them and try to come to good terms with them as to have more influence in the immortal side of things.

Finally, It's the world it's self, I don't have a clue if this is canon, fanfic, or a crossover. Even the smallest of change can effect the outcome, like what if Thalia didn't turn into a tree, or if Artemis for some reason has a son or daughter. My biggest worry is if the prophecies changed, or were altered as I'd have no idea on what it can change.

Ever since I could stand (1 years old) I've been moving small amounts of water, like shifting the water in a glass up to lifting water out of a bucket. When I first tried I fainted almost immediately, thankfully my mom thought I was just tired and didn't see the water in the glass move.

Due to the past three years though I can safely lift a bathtub of water for 3 minutes before being tired, hopefully my powers mature when I get older as I don't think I'll be able to lift rivers and huge lakes like I want to.

As for my Earth shaker powers, I didn't even bother as I'd rather not cause my mom to go into debt because I destroyed the apartment building. And while I doubt I could right now with my power, it doesn't change the possibility of destroying the place.

Same goes for storm bringer powers, though I think that as my control over water increases, so will storm, with the exception of the winds. But enough of that, I still have time and am much to young to even execute most of them.

Finished getting dressed and ready to go, I head out of my room to see my mom coming out of the kitchen with two plates of pancakes.

"There you are Percy, I was about to call you for breakfast." She said, smiling at me, placing our plates down on the table as I hug her and sit down.

"Thanks mom." I said, heaving the heavenly food into my mouth, I guess that my name has more meaning then I thought, I'm destroying these pancakes.

"Slow down Percy, we're going outside remember? So make sure not be sick." She lightly chided, eating her own pancakes at a slower pace.

"Sorwy." I said, with a mouthful of pancakes. Swallowing I take my empty plate into the kitchen and place it in the sink, at least I hope so, curse this small body.

Turning to head back, I heard a light hissing sound, Eyes widening my body moves on it's own, dashing to the right, narrowly escaping a bite from a snake. Normally snakes are common in the state, one just doesn't pop up on a 2nd floor building.

Calming myself, I dashed the snake from behind before it could attempt to strike again, slamming my small hands on it's head to keep its mouth shut, placing my right knee on it's midsection.

"Mom! Theres a snake in the kitchen!" I yelled, hoping it reached her, as I yelled I got a better look and saw it had a white crown surrounding its neck. It hissed, likely very pissed it missed it's prey and is trapped.

"What!?" I herd her yell, as she ran into the kitchen, holding what looked like a small bronze knife with a wooden handle.

Before I could ask anything she charge the knife straight into the snakes head, instantly killing it. And my suspicions were confirmed when it turned to gold dust. Turning to me, she hugged me, whispering heartbroken, "Already? He-he said around 11-12, not 4!"

Pulling back, she looked at the dust with hate.

"Percy, go to your room, I need to discuss something with someone." And not wanting to argue, I walked back to my room confused, and worried. How did a monster find me already? My sent shouldn't be even close enough to catch their fancy. In the first book Grover mention they are chased around eleven, especially when they know what they kno- oh, oh gods is it because I know? Was it me using my powers? Was it both? All these questions, and it seems my biggest fear has come true.

"I fucked up canon, at four." I said, realizing I won't be here for long.
