Imogen was content with just watching the humans spar for just a little while, but nothing exciting happened; and she quickly grew bored.
"I don't know what I thought would come out of watching those humans, but at least I learned that humans are very boring." Snickered Imogen as she turned to leave before getting interrupted by a shout.
"I guess I'm staying a bit longer after all, maybe I co-."
*Skill Gained: Fragmented Language Comprehension.
"I wonder how long ago I got that skill... actually, I wonder if I have a whole line of skills that I haven't gotten yet, because of the dumb system's delayed messages." Wondered Imogen while feeling a sense of unhappiness.
"It looks like there's five new people... this makes it immediately more exciting." Jested Imogen as she felt a strong feeling of boredom come over her.
"It looks like the new people are more important than the ones who were already here, with all their fancy armor; and such." Assumed Imogen as she decided to try, and find a better spot to eavesdrop on the humans.

"The Royal Messenger has arrived, stop what you're doing; and bow!" Screamed a guard while everyone who was previously sparring, and talking dropped to the ground.
"This is the last stop for the royal messenger, he has an announcement to give!" Declared the same guard as he gestured to the Royal Messenger.
"All high ranking adventures are required to attend the soiree of the queen, to celebrate her one hundred and sixty seventh birthday." Shouted the Royal Messenger.
"You may be asking yourself, why we didn't just send magic telegrams to the invited people; the reason for that is because we had an abnormally big mana surge about ten days ago; and the mages are still trying to fix it." Explained the Royal Messenger.
"I could've guessed 'at as a half wit, I mean I haven't gotten a single message in a week an'a half." Whispered a man while the guard listened to him in a amusement m
"Would you mind saying that again, I didn't hear you!" Shouted the guard as he failed to remove a giant grin growing on his face.
"I was just explaining to my good friend 'ere how good you did your 'are this mornin'." Said the man while clapping his hand on the back of a complete stranger.
"Are you sure, he doesn't look too comfortable there." Asked the guard as he suspiciously eyed the man.
"very" Assured the man while holding the stranger closer.
"Shut it Arthur your job is to guard, not to harass the townsfolk." Scolded another guard as she walked up to the Royal Messenger.
"Thank you Elora, we need to get back to the queen as soon as possible so you can resume your training to become a Royal Guards member." Praised the Royal Messenger while Arthur stepped up, and prepared his "long" speech.
"Okay people!" "Back to what you were doing, get those legs moving."

Imogen watched as the five intresting humans got on their horses and rode away up north. "I couldn't really understand much of that, but from what I heard I can guess it was about some Royal Messenger going into labor."
"I don't know why that was so important, but this world isn't earth, and I have to stop being surprised at how different it is." Giggled Imogen while standing up, and stretching out.
"Now I can find something else to do, maybe something a little less boring." Decided Imogen as she started heading south to avoid the mysterious pond of bad omens.

"I've seen lots of dragonflies in this part of the forest or what looks like dragonflies to me, this forest is just so big and full of life." Exclaimed Imogen while looking around in interest.
"I don't know what that old heart was talking about, he was probably going senile in his old age." Inferred Imogen as she looked around in confusion.
"Wait a minute, is that a giant dragonfly I see; for some reason... I have the urge to kill it." Admitted Imogen while watching a bunch of smaller dragonflies fly into its mouth.
"What the hell is going on, how are the younger bugs dumber than the adults." Frowned Imogen as she walked closer to the giant dragonfly.
"Maybe the dragonfly is nice, and won't attack me for standing next to it." Muttered Imogen while the dragonfly flew into the sky, disturbing several yellow leaves, and dived down at Imogen.
"Well, at least I made it this long, hopefully my death isn't too painful." Joked Imogen as she dodged out of the way of the dragonfly, making it crash into the dirt.
"Ha, that dragonfly was so overconfident that he crashed into the dirt; what an idiot!" Chortled Imogen while the dragonfly arose out of the muck.
It dived again, faster this time with its jaw open, and gaping. Imogen tried jumping over it, but got stuck to it's compound eye instead.
As the dragonfly rose again Imogen tried her best to stay on, but couldn't when the dragonfly started to thrash around. Inevitably she was thrown into a tree, making a small tick sized dent in it.
But before Imogen even started to move, the dragonfly flew into the tree she was in. Knocking over the tree and ripping its roots right out of the ground. The dragonfly then stopped midair while Imogen, still inside the tree, flew into another tree; knocking it over too.
Imogen barely got out before the dragonfly rammed into the tree once again. Now the dragonfly is starting to look real pissed, it almost seemed to turn red as it rammed at the still Imogen.
But this time Imogen was ready, and dodged her foe, causing the dragonfly to become impossibly more angry as he charged again.
With impeccable skill, Imogen broke her limits; and jumped onto the lower jaw of the dragonfly.
Slowly, she climbed up the jaw to the dragonfly. The dragonfly now knowing what Imogen is trying to do, tried to shake her off before she could get onto its softer backside.
But against all odds, Imogen, taking a risk, jumped up into the air; and barely managed to latch onto the tail of the dragonfly.
The dragonfly, recovering from hitting its head, started shaking its tail back and forth. But even with its attempts to rid itself of the tick, Imogen prevails and finally reaches the back of the dragonfly.
Imogen immediately started to suck the blood out of the dragonfly, of which can't do anything about it. After many days of sucking its blood, the dragonfly had fallen to the forest floor dead.
*System Reminder: You've slain a Giant Raging Dragonfly - level up.
"I wonder why some messages are delayed, while others aren't, strange." Noted Imogen as she got up, and streched out her legs.
"During these last few days I have been trying to work on my patience... and I have to say that I have made a lot of pro-, just kidding; I actually think I have less patience than I did before this whole endeavor." Laughed Imogen while feeling a burnout hit her hard.
"Also, in all honesty; I think that I deserved that level." Grinned Imogen as she looked at the sky in all honesty.
"But I'm still pissed off at the system for not announcing my stage progression, I know that thing had a better bloodline than me; there's no way around it!" Grumbled Imogen while jumping off the dragonfly's corpse.
"I guess I'll just have to find something even stronger to stage progress, and probably die trying." Mused Imogen as she started walking towards the forest.
"Time for another stroll in the woods, for I've nothing else to do with my time." Sighed Imogen while looking back at the dead dragonfly's corpse.
"Also, I've noticed that in different parts of the forest, the trees have different leaf colors." Mumbled Imogen as she turned her head to look up at the trees.
The leaves range from yellow to purple... it's quite interesting to see such different sorts of plant life here, it's almost soothing." Murmured Imogen while stepping out of the dragonfly clearing.
~~~
"I never have anything to do, this forest is so boring." Complained Imogen as she looked around the rather bland forest.
"Well besides fighting for my life against giant creatures, but that only happens every once and a while."
"Hmm, I wonder if I'll ever get a human form... hey system, can I get a human form?" Inquired Imogen.
*Humanoid form acquisition: On your third evolution, you can take humanoid form if you so desire.
"Well that's really fricking far away, but I shouldn't be sad, for I've been on this rock for what; thirteen days; and I've already made pretty good progress." Smiled Imogen as she felt her motivation spike up.
"I guess I need to check my stats now too, so could you bring up my stats please?" Pleaded Imogen while watching her status get brought up.
"My stats are looking good... as they always do." Giggled Imogen as she watched a pine cone-like object fall to the side of her.
"Well... besides my stats I've some choices to make, choices I've put off for a while now." Suspired Imogen while gaining a mysterious aura around her.
"Now that I'm a woman... should I like guys, or stick to liking women?"
"... I'd have to go with liking women, I just can't imagine being with a man after having been a man myself, not that it's bad; I just personally couldn't do it." Asseverated Imogen as she felt a large amount of stress leave her.
"Well, now it's time to continue my trek through the forest." "I desperately hope to find something of interest in my travels." Concluded Imogen while picking up her pace through the forest.
