From that day on, Caroline became a quiet girl, as cold and indifferent as before. Maybe worse because to smile the girl never even did it at all. Even just talking, Caroline would only clear her throat to answer yes or no with a flat look.

That's what Jeremy understood from that day's events, seeing Caroline who had changed completely with the fact that he was starting to not feel the Alpha aura inside Caroline's body. But Jeremy chose to remain silent because maybe something he didn't know had happened to Caroline and Livina and he chose to wait until Caroline would speak.
