Chapter 2

" Do you have more questions?" He asked me.

"Uh, yes. Do you have a girlfriend or something?" I asked being shy.

" I like someone. She was my best friend. When we were 10 years old, she left for Canada and she made a promise that she will be back so that we could meet. But I didn't hear anything about her since then. " He said.

So shocking that he likes someone that's from Canada. I'm from Canada too. I mean we migrated to Canada when I was 10. But we came back here in the Philippines when I was 14.

Axiel's P. O. V

I told Reign about herself. I still can't get over that she has amnesia. And now? She can't even remember a piece of our happiest memories. That's why when I heard that Reign transferred to this school, I asked my mom if I can move to this school.

I still remember how tita Reinha told me about Reign's amnesia 6 years ago. I felt empty. Knowing that she won't remember our happy memories and it was erased on her head. It makes me feel empty.

Reign's P.O.V

It seems like Axiel is sad while saying that. I can feel. I feel bad for him.

"Axiel!!! I knew that you're here!" A girl shouted.

"Ellie? What are you doing here? And why are you with my sister?" He asked with an eyebrow raised.

She's the one that I saw earlier. But I don't who the other girl.

"Of course. I'm with my future sis-in-law."

WHAT? FUTURE SIS IN LAW?!!!!

I just stood up and walked away.

"See ya later," I said after I continued walking away.

Is Axiel engaged?!. No way.

I don't think I can accept it. Joke.

I can tell that Axiel dislikes that girl. But I know that he doesn't like me too. I'm not assuming. As if Haha.

But the fact that he loves someone. And it's his best friend, can't get out of my mind. I feel like I want to help him find that girl. All I want for him is to find his happiness.

I'll help you and I'll be with you till the end, Axiel.

Axiel's P. O. V

I was about to chase Reign when Ellie held my wrist and stopped me.

" Why are you here??!" I asked again. I'm pissed.

" I transferred here too. But I'm in a different section. But my little Axy is your classmate." She said smiling.

Tsk. She's been tailing me. And she always uses Axial to be with me. I don't even like her a bit.

I put all my things in my bag and stood up.

"Where are you going, Axiel?" Ellie asked.

" Somewhere. And I'm taking Axial with me." I answered

I pulled Axial and walked.

" Thank god! You saved me from that pest!" Axial said.

Yes. Axial doesn't like Ellie too. She's just the one who always keeps herself to me. Mom doesn't even like her too. She's so clingy and she has an attitude that we all don't like.

My mom always shows some respect and kindness to Ellie even though she doesn't like her. It's because Ellie's uncle is her business partner. Ellie's uncle even wants us to get married. But no! I won't marry that girl. I'm not being harsh. I'm just being honest.

On Saturday, it's Axial's birthday. And I will invite Reign. I know my mom still remembers her. And I know that on Saturday, they will talk about our future. I think if I showed up with Reign, my mom can stop Ellie's uncle from getting us married.

I hope someone could help me to find a way or else, I'll be married to Ellie.

Axial's P. O. V

I'm so irritated at Ellie. If only I could stop her uncle from doing things that my brother doesn't like.

But if we tried to stop Ellie's uncle, our business will sink.

Please let us do what we have to do.

I'll help you, Axiel. I like Reign but not Ellie.

I heard that my mon doesn't like Ellie too. But she has to approve the marriage proposal just for our businesses' stake.

I know that this has been hard for my brother. I hope my mom can change her mind so that Axiel won't have to suffer anymore.

This is the first time that he tries to chase a girl. Because ever since his best friend left, he no longer talks that much. And he doesn't have any friends except Kevin.

I remember when his best friend left, he cried all night for a whole week. After crying, he would always say that he won't cry anymore.

And yeah. He's the man of his words. He really didn't cry anymore. I've never seen him cry for the last few years.

But who's that girl he's trying to chase? I thought he would wait for his bestfriend until she comes back.

Could it be her? Maybe. I'm just gonna ask him later.
