"Put your guns down. Now!" A familiar voice shouted. I looked at the man where the voice came from. 


The man threw their guns and became scared. What is their connection to Tyler? It's already the second time that they looked so afraid of Tyler. 


"Reign? Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Ashton asked me. 


Yes. It was Axy, Ashton, and Axiel who surrounded me. Are they protecting me or what? I find it so strange. I'm not the only guest here. 


"What in the world is happening here huh?!" Mommy Tori became furious. 


Why does it look like those three are prepared for what's gonna happen? This is suspicious. 


After a few minutes, I heard a gunshot from the back and I felt dizzy. Why am I falling? Why am I dozing off? 


'Reign! Reign! Call the ambulance now, Ashton!' were the last words that I heard before fainting. 


Strangely, Reign fainted. Ashton called the ambulance and took Reign to the nearest hospital. I don't know why this is happening. But all I know is some guests are looking for William Vandestine's ex-wife and daughter. They thought they're gonna be here since his ex-wife Athena is best friend with my mom. 


They said when Athena was just 5 weeks pregnant with their daughter, she divorced William because she knew that her daughter would be in danger if they stay in the same house with William. William is a known mafia boss and Ellie's uncle. 


According to my mom, Athena tried to get Tyler with her, but William ordered his guards to get them. Unfortunately, they only got Tyler. Athena with their unborn child managed to escape. 


Axy and I know that this would happen. So we told Ashton to help us protect Reign. And he agreed. 


I've been waiting for Ashton's call so that I can go to the hospital and see Reign. 


I opened my eyes as soon as I can when I heard someone calling on my phone. 


I looked on my phone to see who's calling me. 


I answered the phone. "Hm? How is Reign?" I asked him. 


"Her heartbeat earlier was slow. But she fainted because gunshot on her leg and there's potassium cyanide in her body. Good thing the ambulance came quickly. The doctor said she might stay in the hospital for a few days. Did she ate or drink something?" He asked me with a worried tone in his voice. 


I saw Reign earlier drinking wine and she was eating a cookie before the men in black fired a gun. 


" I saw her earlier drinking some wine so I excused myself from my mom so that I could stop her drinking it, " I answered. 


"Could you do some investigation about the man who gave her the wine?" He asked. 


"I will." I said and he ended the phone call. 


I'll make sure to find the man who gave Reign the wine. Is he a mafia? Reign almost died because of that wine. I failed to protect her. 


I dialed our butler's number and called him. 


"Who is the party organizer?" I asked him. 


"Lia Mae Mandera. But Ms. Ellie insists to help to organize the party." Our butler answered my question. 


"Contact Lia Mae Mandera and say that I would come to her place. We have to talk about something. Also, text me the address of her place." I said seriously. 


"Understood, Sir." After he said that, I ended the phone. 


A few minutes later, I received our butler's message about Lia Mandera's address. 


I went to my closet and wore a jacket and a cap. 


I went in my car and drove to her address. 


I've been waiting for Reign to wake up. I've been sitting here for 4 hours. 


I can't believe that she's poisoned by someone. That's a clever idea. 


She was shot on her leg too. She suffered so much at this party.
