Chapter 4

Day after day, there is nothing new in Arthur's life.

Every single day there is not a time he wasted for practicing whenever he takes a shit or even in meal, he always meditate. There is a time where he had to pee, he thought himself that he is wearing a diaper so it is okay, but it will be a disgrace for a king if a king pee himself.

Midway of his meditation. His parents is worried about how distant he became. They couldn't even communicate nor cuddle with him, he always hid himself somewhere. And his dumb mother thought it was a hide and seek.

Genna is always trying to locate where arthur is and arthur is always trying to hide no matter the situation is.

Arthur is almost 3 years old now, means he's been meditating for 6 months now, and yet there is seem to be no outcome. Though there is progress but its slow. There is a saying he believed, "No matter how long it is, as long as there is process. One can attain and accomplish what he wanted to accomplish". Arthur's Master in his past life often say that proverb.

In arthur's past life, Ki is the only thing he lacks, because of that he is branded as "commoner" or those who cant wield ki or harness it. That's why he is forced to train harder than anyone, he is bound to spend more time in training rather than spending time with his friends making memories for his childhood. And now he is on that side again, he is so fixated in training, and even forgotten his childhood again.

"I must protect what i treasure the most" he said, but why does he want to protect his parent so much?. "Everyone i knew, was lost and so long forgotten after-" he had lost his focus while on meditation. "what am i saying, tsk" Arthur shakes his head while trying to re-focus.

"why bother thinking about my past, this is a new life given by the god himself" he said.

"i must find a way on how to quickly forge and open my mana core" he began thinking on how he can speed up his training.

"its been 6 months now but there is no remarkable progress have ever took place."

After saying that, a thought started to resurface his mind. He remembered something back in his training days when he was still a king.

"when there is no progress, just let it be. Let it go on its way" He said with a smile on his face.

"but that's useless since, THERE IS NO ACTUAL PROGRESS AT ALL". he yelled.

"im gonna be three years old sooner, maybe i was doing this too soon?" he hesitated.

"hesitation is the great enemy of mankind" he perish the thought.

"training is where a man should be" he insisted.

Another 6 months had passed, and now. The birthday of Arthur Auzwick has finally arrived, though for him its just another day. But on his parent.

"OHHH MYYYYY, HONEYY TROYYYY!!!! ARTHURRRRR IS FINALLLYYYY THREEEE YEARSSSS OLDDDDDDDDDD" Genna yelled after waking up.

"oh thats cool honey, but let me sleep for a while and do go screaming like that" Troy continued sleeping.

"COMEE ONNN HONEYYYY LETS PREPAREE HAAAAAAAAA IM SOOO EXCITEDDDDDDD" Genna dragged troy down to bed and dragged him further more.

"My god honey, its 5 am in the morning and arthur is asleep." Troy complained.

"or is he?" Genna dragged troy in a terrifying speed towards their library. On their way ofcourse there is stairs.

"MY GOD GENNA ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!? MY HEAD ALMOST BLEEDS" Troy yelled at genna.

"did it bleed?" said Genna. "ooh poor troy, *kisses his head*, there are you fine now?"

Troy spoke in his mind "this bitch be kissing my head, hope she kisses different head later".

"honey?" said genna.

"I-its fine now, i guess." said troy.

The door opened infront of them and there is arthur, standing.

"ohh my dear boy you are now three years old" Genna lifted arthur up and then put arthur in troy's shoulder.

"wait, why is arthur in the library" asked troy.

"i thought you let him in there" answered genna.

"no i didn't" said troy.

"this insolent parents are disturbing" Arthur spoke inside his head.

"papa, mama, w-what a-are you d-doing?" Arthur spoke in a cute way. Though he is actually cute.

"oh my god my heart will melt"

"mine melted" both said by Troy and Genna.

"today is your day my dear" troy carried Arthur towards the dining area.

Arthur is tired because he's been meditating this whole time hoping that he can open his core right away.

"aww look, arthur is sleeping" said genna.

"did you locked him inside the library?" said by Troy in suspicion while raising his left eye brow.

"i didnt, all i know is he slept by my side before i fell asleep" genna defended herself.

"really?" troy is still suspicious.

"i swear, and and YEAH ARTHUR CAN WALK A LITTLE NOW RIGHT RIGHT?" genna defended herself once again.

"okay no need to be that kind of, nothing" troy said.

"hmmpf" Genna did it in a cute way.

Four hour had passed, Genna and troy had done preparing and cleaning the house and all there is left is to buy ingredients for the meal she'll serve. Troy will invite the party of sphynx once again to join them.

Genna out of the blue, thought that maybe, arthur can come.

"hey honey, why dont arthur join me in the market. So he can atleast get familiarized in the town" said genna.

"well he hadn't gotten further expect in the yard so it might be a good idea bringing him to the market" said troy while brushing the wooden table.

"okie dokie, i will bring arthur with me" Genna prepared herself.

After preparing genna wakes arthur up and said that he should come with her to the market.

Arthur agreed right away because he thought that this could be a good experience to know where on when he actually is. Arthur never left their house and is only playing rather meditating in their back yard. (He doesn't have any friends because he talks like a matured person infront of others).

Genna carried arthur in a piggy back ride.

"d-does it hav-have to be this w-way mo-mother?" said arthur.

"yes dear, you cant be walking in the dirts, were heading to the town afterall" Genna said. "God, he was so cute i cant help my self from pinching his cheeks" genna said in her mind.

"o-okay mo-mother." said arthur.

"OHHHH MY GODDDD" Genna hugs arthur so tight to the point where he couldnt breathe.

Troy ran towards genna and grab arthur from her. "damn woman, what are you trying to do."

"s-sorry i couldnt help my self, *pichoue*" Genna peace sign and tried acting cute.

"what are you doing" Troy said with disgust face.

"boooooO! what a let down, support your wife mANnn" genna acted childish.

"anyways put arthur in my back ill take him now" said genna.

"okay, but dont do it again" said arthur.

"yes fathhErrrr" genna replied.

Genna and arthur is now on their way to the town to buy ingredients.

Arthur never expected that he'll be in the era where technology havent took place yet. Means he's in the 14's. The place looks like where your fantasy dreams took place. It is crowded and many unknown things for arthur is residing.

The place is crowded since its a town and arthur had to cling to his mothers back more tighter because he cant see shit. Everything looks new for him. The place is in Human Kingdom, Arthur thought that he is in Elven kingdom because his mother is an half elf but the Auzwicks family is in the human kingdom.

In the middle of buying the ingredients, Arthur is look around hoping to find interesting things.

ARTHUR'S POV

What are those things in the bottles? they fetch a high price. I dont know what are those, so i pointed it out and mother noticed.

"mo-mother what a-are those?"

"oh that? its a potion dear, they are quite expensive since they are high quality healing potion. The Red one are the healing one, The blue one is for mana restoration, while the violet is for both though its not as strong as the other two"

"o-okay."

What are those things? do people really eat that? its like a chicken thigh but way way wayy bigger than normal one. And its blue. Why do people even it eat.

And the moment i said the blue chicken, my mother bought it. AND ITS STINKS SO MUCH!. Its like rotten chicken but she bought it what?!. Mother noticed that i was not able to handle the smell so she casted a spell to block the smell.

"they may stink and look rotten but its the yummiest food you'll eat today dear" said mother.

BUT THERE IS NO WAY THAT I COULD EAT THAT.

We continued to buy ingredients and i wanted to look for more things but my mother wouldnt let me. I was hoping that maybe i could look for a bookshop but i havent seen any yet. We've passed some Weaponsmith shop but it looks like a normal shop for me, though the owner is bragging about how awesome his sword is but when you look closely to his swords, it looks frail and easy to break so i forced my mother to leave quickly as possible.

30 mins had passed and yet no bookstore, it seems that i had to ask my mother to go there personally. I must do it while i have a chance.

"m-mother can we g-go to the bo-book store?"

"sure dear, i was planning to go there soon since you are so fixated in reading books despite being a 3 yearsold."

"t-thanks"

Before going there my mother said he must buy things first, First we got the this shop where my mother and the shop owner seems to get along so well. Its a shop of wands and i dont know why my mother want some wands.

"is there anything you like?" my mother asked me out of the blue.

I was bewildered and couldnt answer right away so the owner spoke.

"let me choose one thing for the boy, and its on the house" she said.

"thanks alot sis!" genna hugged and kissed her.

So, she's my auntie then? that explains why they get along so well.

My auntie gave me a peculiar ring, she said that it'll be useful in the future. The rings fits to the fingers of its owner so my cute size fingers is not a problem at all.

"are you sure about that sis? isnt that kinda expensive?" said mother.

"its okay gen, anything for the boy" auntie replied.

"if you say so, Arthur why not kiss your auntie?" Mother asked me.

BUT I HAVE NEVER EVER KISSED A WOMAN BEFORE, But im an infant, so maybe it could be a valid excuse. So i kissed the woman, and then. THE WOMAN SMILED SO MUCH AND SHE BEGAN BITING HER LIPS LIKE SHE'S ASKING ME TO MATE WHAT THE GRACIOUS GOD IS THAT.

I asked mom on what the ring is about but she never answered, she said that ill know in the future so i kinda felt a little bit down.

After a minute of walking, i finally saw the bookstore. I was excited at first but the moment we got there. Its terrifying as hell. The outdoor design is nice but once you entered. Its like an old haunted house, the lights are violet, the surroundings are dark and then-

A light has opened lightening everything inside the library. At first it was creepy but now it looks like a normal fine library.

I asked my mom to go where the history of everything is in place and she followed me right away. I there was a lot of books but nothing sparks my interest. After a walking in the history shelf, there was a book that sparks my interest. Its the "the war of the three kingdoms", i asked mother to have it and so she did.

"you sure do like history huh" said mother.

"y-yes" i replied.

We wonder around not too long and, hoping to find some book that tips you on how to open your core. We got in the magic area where everything that concerns mana and magic is in there. We look at every shelf but its full of "how to make your pp strong" or "how to make your mana be in good shape", there is nothing but a dust about "how to open your mana core". My mother seemed to notice me looking for something and then she asked me what is it that i was looking.

I said, it was a book about mana core, she was surprised that i know about that because there is no way in hell that a 3 yearsold could ever know that mana even existed. So i got her looking for me.

"oh shoot i forgot, i have that book under my bed" said mom.

"w-what book mo-mother?" i said.

"its the book on how you can actually forge your mana core early as possible." she said.

"r-really?" my pupils widen.

"yeah dear is that all you want?"

"y-yes mother".

We finally got home, and i have learn alot of things to day. I didnt thought that this world is just as similar as mine. The only thing that my world had is technology, i was living in a cyberpunk world where everything is technology. This world is like the older civilization of humans. The ki and mana and everything remains the same.

Its finally the time where they will finally celebrate my birthday. Well ofcourse my auntie is in there, i was hoping to see my grandfather and mother but my mother said that they wouldnt come. The sphynx came, the shpynx is my fathers adventurers friend, (in chapter 2). We celebrated it like as normal as a 3 year old would celebrate it but theres a twist, the gift they are giving are somewhat more valuable than i anticipated. My auntie, despite giving me a ring she gave me another book, "the way to the white". Its a guide book on how to reach the white stage as early as possible, my mother informed me that i was looking for mana core book and then she gave me the book. The sphynx as one gave me a coat. It grows as well if the owner grows. Itll come handy since it can grow if im growing.

My father gave me a gift, a wooden sword. It may be short but he said ill be using it in the future use.

"your father sure is dumb in giving gift" Leonte the knight of the Sphynx said.

"yeah its a little bit early for him to receive that" my auntie replied.

Well it doesnt actually matter for me since im focusing on how to open my core, itll sure come in handy if i open my core.

The party ended and everyone is finally asleep. Now i can do what i wanted to do.

First the history book of the war of the three kingdom.

The three kingdoms held a war 50 years ago, its a war born of greedy. Every nation is losing resources because of the volcanic erupption that occurred a month before the war started, The volcanic eruption took every livestock in the human world, while in the elven world. Every tree was burnt to ashes destroying their houses. In the dwarven kingdom, there is a lava flowing everywhere, killing 1/4 of their population.

Out of hunger and survival, the human kingdom started attacking the two kingdom in search of resources.

The human started the war.

The elven fought the humans.

The dwarves is enslaved by humans but they rose and started a rebellion towards humanity.

The three kingdom is not in good shape but instead of prioritizing their people, they chose war.

And in those bloody days.

Only strong people managed to survived.

The new king of the humans stated that they want a peace after the previous death of their king.

The king of the elves refused.

while the drwarves didn't answered.

So the humans made a deal with them. They would offer a support to them and help them rebuild their place.

The elves thought it was stupid, but their kingdom is in ruins and in need to be rebuild. Their population also decreased by dozens.

The dwarven didn't answer again.

So there was a halt in battle, and every nation stopped the war.

There was no peace treaty, there is still war.

The humans thought that the elves finally accepted the peace treaty but the truth is they are only distancing themselves for the future cost.

Same goes for dwarves.

Thats the end? no more?, this book is incomplete. Or is it?

Questioning myself would lead to nothing but more stupid un-answerable questions.

So a war took place because of how stupid humans are huh?, i guess humans are always the same whenever or what world they might be.

In my past life there is also a war but its a war on how much land youll have. So basically is Imperalism. It took 30 years before i made everyone fall in my hands and have them agreed that we will all live in one nation.

Thats pretty much it then.

Next is the book my auntie gave me.
